Won't lie I literally just econ maxed out the empire and had my main central for military as the brass keep and Altdorf, and it fucking worked set my regions to 5% income on all buildings and just kept my armies around 3 by turn 80 I had 15k coming in a turn in then splurged and brought in two more armies steam rolled the vamps and secured victory

Proliferate Cults is surprisingly useful I've found. After all, it's like performing a little preparation before you get to the main course, and by stretching these cults out across the world it can ensure that as many as possible fall to decadence and depravity

What would be the opposite faction playstyle? Is there a faction where you NEED to constantly consolidate in order to succeed? Or for which factions is that tendency most viable?

Just played through the beginning of this campaign on Hard for the first time and I beat Slannesh, Oxy & Teclis using a very interesting strategy. Use your hero to place a cult on the city (I did Slannesh, but the oracle one would have been better imo b/c Oxy will get there before you can) and build the structure that gives you increased hero action chance. Then you can use your hero to kill their heroes with a 90% success chance and destroy the walls of the city very easily. In my game I ended up confederating the Oracle's faction as soon as I defeated the Slanneshi army and Teclis where then Oxy immediately declared war on me. Fighting the siege battle manually at the Oracles previous capital allowed me to severely damage his army with the garrison which allowed kairos to finish the job properly. The cult building though, really strong early game. Hero success chance and vanguard deployment can do a lot for you with these tough fights.

Which race has the best army for the offensice ambushes? High elves? Skaven? Or Beastmen?

Lizardmen? I struggle with them in campaign lots :(

usually i press east and that faction comes from north and takes kislev.... if i go north...well... and no money for 2nd army. (story campaign)

Amazing video i played a few hours of dwarfs when they came out, but was too complicated. I recently started the malakai campaign and most of this video helped me out immensly! Khazukan Kazakit-ha!

I really want to start a Tzeentch campaign, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to beat Teclis with an early army. And do I confederate Tzeentch minor faction to the west of start pos? Much obliged for the content though bud, very informative.

I played 2 and 3 Warhammer. I always fought these guys. in years I've never even tried them, but after playing Gelt its hard to play other things lol. These wizards brah! I couldnt play any other empire leader.

I’m confused regarding the small anvil bit. I thought that spreading your units wide, would make the enemies line thinner, so that your charge can hit them easier from behind.

Fun fact if you are attacking skarsnik at the high place you can move most your army up the kill to the right being hidden while your gyrobomber does it’s namesake.

I disagree on the deeps being a late game building, while it may slow down the growth of a province, the economic output of the deeps is ridiculous. For example, on a Belegar campaign I will rush down Skavenblight as fast as possible and hopefully have a deeps foundry by turn 15-20 and a deeps foundry at level 2 has a debuff by 5% production for each settlement in a province, making Skavenblight particularly good to have it, but will gain 5% production per turn for the rest of the game, making the building quickly scale to unimaginable levels of income generation and basically making the one settlement my whole economy for the entire empire and allowing you to almost completely forget about your economy.

I suck with this so much, it is ridiculous. Constantly besieged from all sides, unable to afford a proper 2nd army, constantly losing my military buildings so I can only recruit trash units, unable to afford anything and just scrambling to defend what's left until the BS is just too much and I quit. The game throws thing after thing after thing at me. My most recent meltdown was in the RoC campaign when it just spawned two Khorne armies in my territory (not rebellions) and they razed all my shit while Kairos was away several turns and couldn't get back in time. I never had such issues with any other faction, this is so ridiculous.
