Some of y'all ate missing the point of Mike. Did you notice when she was in his arms, super sick, and he knelt down at the gate, and it zoomed in close to his mask, and this black dust/mist was pouring out throught the eye holes? Mike was her guardian angel, and his job was complete. And when the little girl woke up in the clinic, and was saying with great emphasis how HE watched over her and HE took care of her. She is referring to God, as all clergy does in their sermons. They also always put an unnatural emphasis on the pronunciation of HE. This is very top heavy on the Christian symbolism, so it all tracks. Like Jesus dying on the cross, being reborn, does some good stuff and then disappears, just like Mike. He did good stuff, saved an innocent life and *poof* disappears in a dark cloud. Mike is not a real person, and never was. Rewatch it. You'll see it. How folks missed this is beyond me. Its a sweet short movie, and could be made into a real tear jerker with a bigger budget. Did anyone ever see City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage? This is incredibly similar.

This was great, its almost april 2024 and i loved this, quality and great acting. Top tier! It makes me sad as a parent, seeing the little girl alone until mike comes. One comfort i can take in life is that my son knows how to survive if ever needed, using weapons, growing food, finding food/water, knowing all the basics. Hes almost 13, and if anything ever happens. I hope he finds a friend like mike. Someone to help him if anything ever happens to me. ❤
