You don't need to keep pressing the button to build up pressure! Just push it once, let it build pressure, then push again to shut off. Really should know how this item works before teaching others.

I have a 9ft long kitchen drain pipe literally full of sludge and chunks of limescale for its entire length. I can’t break through it using a hand spring tool, I may have to call a plumber. Would a tool like that would generate enough power to push through that lot?

This wasn't an easy repair but I was able to do it by pateintly going slow. Cable refused to move and I discovered it kinked in two places. Ended up replacing the cable completely and it works like it's supposed to. This time I invested in some rust inhibitor to stop the cable from completely rusting over like it will do.

how long does it take to charge it? also i have used it a couple times but it has never pressurized over a #4 does it take a full charge to get it to pressurize to a #5 or #6?

Omg thank you for this tip. The PSI stayed at 0 with several minutes of pumping When I went to check if the metal tube had a gap with the plastic body, I noticed the O ring wasn’t in place. The O ring has fallen out when I put it together. And I saw it right there in the floor!! Thank you! I was about to return it. Instead it worked great 😊

I’m a 71 yo widow, living alone in my apartment. Whenever my toilet needed to be cleared of a clog I would use a Ridgid 6 ft toilet auger and it was a pain to use but worked better than a normal plunger. I bought this Populo electric plunger from Amazon last year and had not needed to use it until today. The toilet wasn’t totally clogged but very slow to drain. I was a little hesitant about using it as there was still water in the bowl but I was amazed when I hit the button to clear it! No water splashed and cleared the drain. Great product, highly recommend it!

I recommend using a pvc pipe or simlair put in toilet cuz coming back it SPINS and slings 💩💩 Everywhere literally!!! 😖😖.. but me (female) it really gets job done !!

These aren't meant for toilets. Using one of these on a toilet is a great way to treat your toilet water like a blender, as well scratch up your porcelain. They make specific augers for toilets. Much larger width, and rubber elbow to protect your toilet as well keep the spinning portion to the inside of your toilet.

I think it's a visual explanation to describe where the screw is to disconnect the cable for replacement. I have one of these machines and he didn't need to take it apart to locate that screw. Besides, there are other problems with the trigger mechanism that are far more debilitating. Such as a spring that breaks that I couldn't replace, so I had to fabricate my own spring.

It depends on the specific situation. For example, turning on the water will cause sewage to overflow if the pipe is completely clogged. However, in other cases, such as cleaning the inside of the pipe, turning on the water will help with the cleaning process.
