Great tip. I changed my filters but the water separator filter didn't fit in the cap properly ,should have stopped there but went ahead and screwed the cap on anyhow,started the truck ,ran about 20 seconds than quit. I knew what the issue was (AIR) looked on You Tube saw your fix.Nothing to loose wouldn't restart so I decided to do it ran about 2 gallons of fuel into jugs ,put valve back in did the purge 5 times just to insure no air tried starting and to my surprise it started ran fine,while filling those 2 jugs of fuel there was a lot of air in the system.Man you saved me ,THANKS for doing this video.

I was trying to find you a link to some inexpensive accord transmission style mounts but quickly realized they don’t exist 😅 … well inexpensive at least. It does seem Jackspania offers the brackets individually, buying the two you need will still put you under budget. Also, are you planning on recording how to test that engine harness before install?
@rustyshackleford81Ай бұрын
If someone can find me CAD files for mounts I will make them for the cost of materials/ I'll even take a crack at drawing them in CAD myself if someone can loan me a set to prototype.... I've been a Machinist going on 4 years now, been drawing CAD and programming for 3 years.

I had my trans rebuilt and and new torque convertor and new solenoid pack . 3 months later Im having fuild leaking from breathing cap and car kinda doesnt go into drive right away it hesitates to go into gear.They didn't change that TCC sensor. I just order it and hope it corrects the problem. I already did the transmission fluid and filter just in case it was a filter problem and it didnt correct the problem.

07 gmc sierra i just had to replace my sensor the mechanic did the relearn on it. I left and while driving it home the rpms stayed at 1400 rpm i never even had to hit the gas. At lights when i was slowing down my rpms were going up my truck was surging while at the light. Pulled into my drive put it in park and the rpms climbed on their own to over 2000 and stayed then slowly dropped down to 600rpm. Why is it still doing it whith the re learn. Now im told drive over 45 for 5 min let it idle for 3 minutes then shut it off for 60 seconds but i dont see how that works but at this point im willing to try anything. 😊
@lilrider100Ай бұрын
They did not do the relearn, or did it improperly

I'm guessing the transmission needs removed to access the torque converter?
@jim9219771Ай бұрын
Also what prechecks should be done? How would you check the wiring? I mean, I know you'd use a multimeter, but I've no clue what and where the wiring is and I don't know what specs to check for.

Unless you already completed this swap, there is no way you are going to spend less than $1000. The cheapest mounts for that transmission is the jackspania ones for $299. Then you still need axles. Fuel lines. Pedals for the shell. Clutch line. The accord header will work but you need to connect it to the stock exhaust somehow. That radiator in the civic will work but you have to weld the mounting brackets to the drivers side. Heater hoses, radiator hoses… You already spent $600 for the accord. You better pull all the wiring off the accord and use that for the harness. If not, the wiring will be costly and confusing. Please explain how you plan to spend less than $1000
