What excellent information and good display of the same. "Informative and useful" as other have commented. I now understand what I am looking at regarding reading of the 'snow' effect. It is exactly what we beginners need to know. Thank you!"

How is +7 s/d good? That’s +49 seconds week - almost a minute a week off - or you can buy a $16.95 Casio and be accurate within 3 seconds a year.
@FoliotGuy3 жыл бұрын
Maybe you are new to the world of mechanical watches. The watch is over 60 years old, and 7s/day is very good for that. Ask your grandfather.

Just bought one. Thanks for info. Is it wrong if my Hulk is about 0 I can't remember is tiny bit plus or minutes face up... but minus ten seconds when face forward. I keep on watch winder so it gains a lot of time ... when not on me... my yacht master and gmt both pretty close on all positions
@FoliotGuy3 жыл бұрын
Firstly, don't put your watch an an autowinder (unless you also keep your car engine running all the time). A bit of variation is normal, but 10s on a Rolex movement is a bit much.
@FoliotGuy3 жыл бұрын
@@TheRealCheckmate So you keep your car engine running 24/7 even if you don't use the car?

I don't think changing the lift angle affects the beat error. I think it only changes the amplitude reading. I could be wrong, but my research and my own toying with my new timegrapher lead me to think I'm right.

@kevinsims22543 жыл бұрын
I doubt it, Westminster Chimes are very rare in non English speaking European countries. The only places I in Europe can think of are the Roter Turm at Halle in Germany and the Hallgrimskirka in Reykjavik, Iceland.
