You shortly mentioned how you paint black templars, would you consider doing an entire video about your black templar style? Specifically on space marines
@DumbRobotStuff7 сағат бұрын
Yeah, I do want to go back to them and do some more black templars next year, which will mean some videos on them too, but until then, I do partially mention how I paint them in my legion dreadnought video
@devilswordwilliam35107 сағат бұрын
@@DumbRobotStuff oh awesome, I'll definitely check that out. And your future Templar videos. Thank you!

@DumbRobotStuff7 күн бұрын
A redemptor dreadnought, armiger leg pieces, brutalis dreadnought arms(though I got some 3D printed replacements) stormtalon weapon pods, and a few extra small things here and there, I’ve got a full video covering how I made it is you want a proper explanation

@DumbRobotStuff8 күн бұрын
@aleksanderk6311 these were actually a batch of minis from a smaller kickstarter they did years ago

Bro that’s so cool it gives it so much character I was wondering is there going to be another live stream soon?
@DumbRobotStuff15 күн бұрын
I haven't been able to stream much recently because of some PC issues, and I am busy with holiday stuff coming up so I don't want to make any promises, but I will try and do one stream this month, maybe on the weekend of the 14/15th

The more i see of this thing, the less i think of it as a mini snd the more i think of it as a playable diorama! Especially with the interior youre working on I cant wait to see the finished result! Its gonna be mind blowing, im sure

i honestly really like the shoulder piece chest armor, reminds me of a cuirass of later midevil and early napoleonic eras, would look really good with the lance and shield from the cerastus

seeing that model with the wings on the side of their helmet gives me ideas for my arbites as I want each squad leader to have a slightly different looking helmet
@Bloodworia28 күн бұрын
This looks cool, but i think the colour focus on the breast plate completely ruins the vibe. Your gaze just focusses on that round breastplate too much
@kovachkorax785128 күн бұрын
It's terrible, the author just ruined a bunch of miniatures. all the details presented out of place are recognizable and I see knees instead of shoulders. Unsuccessful conversion. It totally sucks.

Hey hav a questions can u make the legs a bit taller
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
the questoris knight legs are a tad short, but in the model I'm currently working on, I did build in some leg extenders

@UseVisineАй бұрын
Fantastic! *clap3x*
@knightsljxАй бұрын
It would have been more relevant and practical if the conversion was done using just the Questoris box instead of having to bash in another 100GBP kit
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
Yeah that would've been better, but as I mention in the video, you get pretty limited on choice for large armour panels with this kind of thing. But you don't need to buy the whole kit if you just need one piece, there are bits sites and ebay where you can buy specific parts for cheaper prices
@rogue1874Ай бұрын
What is the silver wire you're using? The mech looks so cool.
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
Thanks, and for this I've been using 2mm thick 12 Gauge Aluminium Craft Wire

Ive been following your stuff for a little bit now! its really cool to see your process on this piece! real excited for your Rogal Dorn project!
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
@zackviola520 thanks, the background footage of this is actually me building my Dorn Tankhead, and I do post more regular WIP pics on twitter/Instagram, if you wanna see what the build looks like so far
@rogue1874Ай бұрын
Could you please tell me what kit you used for the hands. Thank you.
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
they are titanicus/epic scale reaver fits, just with some details cut off the cut down a little at the top
@rogue1874Ай бұрын
@DumbRobotStuff Hi, thank you for getting back to me. Did you use 3d printed components on the legs?
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
@rogue1874 yes, I got the 3D file from cults3d, it's called "imperial Knight leg extender" by dravpnir
@shem6844Ай бұрын
Yoooo this looks so cool. What do you plan to make next cuz honestly I have some ideas
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
I'm currently in the middle of another knight build actually, a kitbash with a tank, and don't worry, I have no shortage of ideas myself, I come up with ideas way faster than I can make them
@shem6844Ай бұрын
I was hoping to suggest a 40k imperial titan blended with either pacific rim, armored core, and/or Emerson Tungs Tankheads, in to basically make a more "modernized"/advance version of said titan. It'll basically be a Jeager packed to the brim with weapons from the arms, shoulders, back, even the legs. Hell, it's head (if given one) could be a turret as well (which is why mentioned Tankheads)@@DumbRobotStuff
@HaekeldrachenАй бұрын
Looks friggin awesome! Never liked that the head of a knight is mounted up front, basically the the easiest spot to hit. Yeah great! Let's put the head exactly where everyone is gonna aim at.
@JoshBorlaseАй бұрын
What did you use for the other shoulder plate?
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
@JoshBorlase a shoulder plate from a castellan Knight that I bought individually, the lancelot art was asymmetric on the arms/shoulders so I wanted to do something similar
@JoshBorlaseАй бұрын
@ Oh nice, thanks!
@damonx99Ай бұрын
Another inspiring build. So awesome. Any chance you will tackle smaller machines from another line, maybe the Heavy Gear verse?
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
I often do make smaller machines, like a lot of armigers, but heavy gear is not a verse I'm familiar with
@johnbursi2804Ай бұрын
Will you be building a walker for this game universe?
@DumbRobotStuffАй бұрын
it's a cool idea, but it might not fit the setting, might need to see what else comes out of the new antioch mechanised infantry
