My wife was and sometimes is focused on me what I’m doing my tone my temper whatever. I’ve worked and worked and worked finally I told her I can’t do it anymore I’ll go live by myself but will not live my life trying to live up to some imaginary standard that you’ve created in your mind. I am not perfect I never claimed to be. I am going to mess up I’m going to get mad sometimes I’m going to yell. I don’t like it I try not but again I’m not perfect. So I would rather go live by myself than live like this. That snapped her out of it like nothing else ever did. I didn’t say I want a divorce I didn’t say I don’t any you. And that I think I what made her look at herself. Been great since. Hope it lasts. Or I will be by myself. But I’d rather have peace by myself. Than life like that.

I think I'm not going to capitulate to my soon to be ex wife. Im already fine with the impending divorce and I hate when she calls me family and her best friend. When someone is nitpicking, micromanaging or being emotionally abusive, taking out their bad moods or unhappiness on you on a constant basis, whatever their excuse, being calm, understanding and rational with them really doesn't work. Women who want to live in disappointment and blame will find a way to be unhappy, and being good to them will perversely make them more likely to attack you . Giving them a couple of chances then quitting the relationship is the best solution.
