This is Beautiful. Perfect Marriage of simplicity and complexity. I'm considering Subharmonicon to pair with Slim Phatty but concerned re tuning

You’ve got a ton to work with there and it sounds really nice. For me, I have just a single M32 and a DFAM and I recently bought a few euro rack modules to pair with them (Mutable Instruments Plaits & Rings, then a Metropolix sequencer from Intellijel). Having those modules to pair with the M32 and DFAM really opened things up for me and has made it a lot more fun to experiment with. Might be worth looking into? You could get something like Pamela’s Pro Workout to keep everything in sync nicely, too.

The first time I actually was impressed of what came out of the DFAM! And I have watched MANY vids… Super good work with your channel 👌

Beautiful piece! More DFAMs and M32s definitely help for more interessting live compositions, but I understnad that it is daunting to keep them all in tune. I often see people ditch the SubH in more complex setups because it's simply to hard to keep it in tune with everyone else :D You did a great job, though!

Jealous of the multiple DFAMs. Understandable to limit yourself to a single Subharminicon. :D Moog modular is so much fun. Nice work.

It’s on the way- it should have been published already by the 1st of April, but there was a problem with the transfer. I just sent it again- so it should be on Spotify (and elsewhere) in about 2 weeks. Best regards! Navarov

Are you not sending pitch cv from one common, but programed each "module" in the same scale? It sounds very thought out and less of a jam. Really good IMO. The last year I got a Vector five 12 sequencer, that is rather deep, and I have so far in this learning process sett everything to C minor but only been using C and D keys. I have a 2hp quantizer though, that goes to a filter atm. First I did this to get less confused, but now I do it for the music. Maybe with synths there are so many other parameters than pitch to play around with and to catch our attention, that to much pitch or scales might sometimes be to much? Now I made myself think. Have to do some research into the difference between synths and other instruments. This one is good: Terry Riley: In C kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3_MYZWroL6FpKM

I just got my DFAM and Mother-32 setup over the weekend. What a learning experience! Waiting on the SubH and then hopefully next month I can order the Matriarch to complete the set. This gives me HUGE motivation!!

It has a sweet nostalgic feeling, that slow arpeggio reminds me the soundtrack of Medievil. What is the name of that wave? Is it a saw wave? What secret recipe make a wave sound this wonderful way?
@navarov2243 ай бұрын
Thanks- I’m glad you enjoy my music. I also love that song for its sound. I tried to remember, how I created that retro arpeggio sound- here is the recipe: take 4 fresh sawtooth waves, use two oscillators per voice and sync them. Then add two tablespoons of high pass filter (not too much resonance) and a teaspoon of a good analogue delay. Attack is quite low, decay and sustain somewhere in the middle and maybe a bit of release. Bon Appetit! :-)
