I just got my DFAM and Mother-32 setup over the weekend. What a learning experience! Waiting on the SubH and then hopefully next month I can order the Matriarch to complete the set. This gives me HUGE motivation!!

Which one is better for bass drones? I feel like the ss3 will provide more variation/modulation and the matriarch might deliver a bigger punch. What do you think?

That’s a tough question. I think it could be possible to create an even bigger wall of sound with the subharmonicon- due to 6 oscillators - If you would use all 6 Oscillators of the subharmonicon in the same frequency (or 4 at the low end and 2 one octave higher). I will try that out after my holidays and will let you know (maybe also in a video..)
