I had to stop listening to Ruth and her baby's story..... and come back to it later. The cruelty is beyond human comprehension......It was luck timing and small acts of kindness that made a difference in Hanna's ability to survive. We can celebrate this as we mourn what Ruth had to go through.....

9:45 pm Friday, Dec. 20, 2024. Suburb of Detroit, Michigan. Thank you so much for sharing. I’ve read many books about the Holocaust. It was tragic time & I would like to think if I had lived there during World War II that I would have done anything to fight Hitler. I was able to visit relatives that still live in the Czech Republic about 10 years ago. I am 83 1/2 yrs. Old. So sad time for the Jewish families & many millions of others. 😢

Such a simple lesson but such a profound teaching. Be kind..never evil. Simple words, simple sentences. They should be easy to follow. God Bless Ayana and every Jew!

My father was a witness to at least three of the labor or concentration camps. He was also part of the military government that worked with the displaced persons. My niece had an assignment in one of her classes to write about one of her grandparents so she wrote about her Grandpa and the labor camps. She received an A for her grade. I think it helped that she wrote about something unique that the teacher likely hadn't heard before and about a subject that no other student wrote about. Thank you Dad for helping her get an A. Some of the students were a bit jealous because they perceived that their grandparent's experience was more mundane.

This video was very informative. I already had some previous education on the events of the Holocaust, but seeing what led up to it has really opened my eyes to the horror that occurred to anyone deemed unworthy of life. Heartbreaking. Thank you for making this film.

What I can't understand is why it has been ignored that Jesus taught "the way of life." The curriculum of מערה, מאת, לוק, and יענה should be in the order of Mark (preparation of the heat;) mat'theou or matthew (God the father with us.) With Emanuel our soul is healed to become righteous. Luke means the "latter part." This is a deliverance of the mind to hold the word always in one's mind. This is holiness. Finally, in the teachings of the Jewish Jesus is "the beginning of the response of Jah." Solomon uses these words in his lessons on "the way of life." The word Christians was not used at first. Followers were taught in each of the four classes called gospels. There were the first 12, then the first 70 and then the second 70. Among the 12, only Peter, James and John had learned "the good part." But Jews had been learning the way of life since the time of Abram and then Moses. Abam's faith grew over time...and Moses illustrated the pathway through the narrowing entrances of courts. "Seek my face" is the most important invitation i ever heard. "My heart was moved, and I said, 'Thy face, O Lord I will seek.'" I'm not very smart, but I have seen the lightning in the east and it's reflection from west to east again. I have heard "the still small voice" which is lower than a whisper. The quickening of the blood. • This was a Jewish teaching given to a people who had forgotten. Gentiles called "the people of THE WAY" would accept the grace, but quickly forget how to attain to righteousness, holiness, and godliness. It is the same way of faith for all of us. By the grace of one Jew, we are saved, healed and delivered. Be grateful.

I had a teacher (lovely older woman) with numbers tattooed on her arm. I remember asking about them but she kindly brushed it off. I was 12, too ignorant to know what it meant. I wish I had known.

Watching from the UK. My mother went to a Quaker school during the war. Many Kinder Transport children were there. She was profoundly affected by their stories and we, her children, were brought up to understand the horrors of anti semitism.

My mother and our neighbor once bought a lot of chickens to butcher and freeze. I was a small child at the time. After seeing the chickens literally run around without their heads and then watching my mom and our neighbor pluck them and clean out the inside, I didn't eat chicken for two years! I am so glad that I have the privilege of going to the store and getting our chicken. I think I was a little traumatized at the time, but now it's funny, so I understand her laughter quite well. 😅

I'm watching from New Zealand. I was a teacher and foster mum before I became terminally ill. It breaks my heart to see the pictures of the innocent children who had everything taken from them. Greta was a remarkable lady and essentially gave everything of herself to these precious children. When it was almost impossible to meet the basic things anyone needs she thought outside the box for example making clothes for the children out of sheets and other fabrics that the Nazi's abandoned. White it's hard to watch and listen to holocaust victim's stories I feel that it's the very least we can do. Thank you for giving us access to these stories.

I think we lack in our education system and at home ethics if we teach children about morality. They will absolutely refuse in the time of brutal regimes. There’s no excuse to say oh… I was ordered to do it by my superiors. No!!! If you think it’s wrong don’t do it!!!
