I'm sure you are a nice guy but you need to stop repeating yourself and take a speech class. I did when I was young and it helped big time. Parting shot: I am an old man who was born in Ontario in 1961 but grew up in San Bernardino which is now like the Congo. Is Ontario still nice like Riverside or has it gone bad too? I've spent 19 years in Phoenix and I can't stand the overcrowding and I never could stand the heat. Get me out of here.

Yep, as long as the Port of Long Beach is the largest container port in the U.S. and a major gateway for trade between China and the U.S., then the surrounding areas where there is enough land to build and store those goods for transport, will have warehouses and trucks. In short, it's an American thing. 😉. Also, homes on corners receive lots of dog poop from your neighbors and trash from teenagers riding around late at night, throwing out their fast food containers. Great video, and yes, we are moving to the area after years of being there so often due to our trucking schedule. 😉🙂

There are parts of Rancho...up near the mountains....(Alta Loma for example ) that have far safer crime and air quality than the areas you are comparing for PRICE (Ontario..Fontana etc ) Apples to apples. As for walkablity...almost the entire state is NOT walkable....but at least Rancho will get new High speed train....and Metro link to LA soon. (and already in place in nearby Upland ). This area will be a boom with these new high speed rails...and low crime ...and well above most of the pollution you see down in lower elevations....

Those Santa Ana winds really cause a lot of damage. A couple of years ago I lost a fence that way and had to replace the entire fence. Although the fence was really old and rotted, still I could have liked to have waited a few more months before having to replace an entire fence. That's something that, for some reason, is unknown in this area.

I had lovely memories in this place. In 1989 I was a 13 years old child visiting my late uncle home in Fontana. I don't know why I felt in love with this place even though it can be labeled as average town's. When we finished while the plane was taking off from Ontario airport I could see San Gabrielle mountain near me then the whole town I could see it as a big carpet of gold. I saw the places where I used to hang out with my cousin and where we used to make racing by cycling. I felt part of me remained there and I had a feeling of guilt for leaving but I had to follow my father path in returning back to Lebanon. Hope to visit it again God willing but I prefer to avoid seeing this airport as through it my beautiful dream ended during my trip in 1989 lol.

My grandparents and folks moved here in the early 1960s (after living in Van Nuys for a few years). I've lived in Ontario my whole life except for my college years. When my grandparents and folks first moved here we lived near I St and Del Norte. The homes they bought were brand new and there was not much else around. We shared our neighborhood with grape vineyards and field mice. My father still tells stories about those field mice and now he is quite elderly. I currently live near Hawthorne Elementary School.

@Californialiving

I'd like to think that every home, no matter where, has a type of "HOA fee". Because every home has to pay for water, trash, and maintenance of the neighborhood (in the form of taxes), etc. The extra fee which is pretty nominal, Maybe $20 a month, is what's paid to the management company that handles the payments and fees for the vendors. But what concerns me about HOAs are the rules and sometimes the mismanagement of the fees.
