Hi, first off I want to say how grateful I am for your videos as I have been recently diagnosed and am looking for a treatment plan where I can safely get pregnant and treat my MS. I wanted to know, how many weeks were you pregnant with Beau that prompted you to stop compaxone?

After breastfeeding Beau for 14 months, can you confirm you experienced no MS relapses during that time?

Hi there! I'm so glad you have found the videos helpful, that is my only goal! I stopped copaxone pretty early on, and because I met with a new neurologist who had me come off of it while pregnant. No, I never had a relapse while breastfeeding.

My recurrent symptom of an exacerbation is a weird sensation on the bottom of my feet. I feel like I am walking on marbles. Of course there is nothing there but it’s very uncomfortable and lasts for weeks. As it subsides the other symptoms of the exacerbation recede at the same time….until next time. You’re right that illness, physical and emotional stress can cause an exacerbation. Recently I had an emergency surgery. That was May and I am just now mostly recovered from the MS symptoms that were a result. I do take gabapentin 300 mg at night. I am a nightmare of side effects with whatever I take with the exception of gabapentin. I have not had any side effects on gabapentin. I think for you it’s worth a try. You can always stop taking it if you have side effects you can’t tolerate.

Cymbalta 90mg and Pregabalin 50mg a day keeps 90% of my burning/stabbing/crushing/electric shocking/itching/ MS pain away my darling xxx Ps Pregabalin is far more effective with less side effects than Gabapentin And Cymbalta/Duloxetine also is an antidepressant and is Neuro protective and protects our brain from damage

Hello, I recently listened to a lecture by Dr. Alan Macdonald in which he spoke about 10 autopsies he performed on MS patients. He discovered that every patient had parasites in their cerebral spinal fluid. His talk is outstanding. There’s also another outstanding KZbin channel called live disease-free where the host has been in remission for MS for 30 years.

I wear compression sox every day and I still have really bad burning feet. Maybe it's worth a try for you though. Remember those are possible side effects, you may only get one or two lasting only a few days. For me it would be worth trying it, you could come out of it feeling better. Best wishes.

I have taken gabapentin for many years. I take a large dose of it. I haven’t had any of those symptoms. At first it helped so much but after 20 years it doesn’t help as well. Lately I have used Vicks on my legs and feet, believe it or not. That has been helping very much. I put socks after. So far it has helped. But of coarse you can’t do that in the day. The burning of my feet and then it radiates up to my legs and it turns into a weird ache pain. I constantly move my feet at night to try and soothe it. I’m glint to keep up with the Vicks and see if it keeps helping. I wish they would study this symptom more. I have it bad at night and NEVER sleep well. I’m 66 and have had ms for 40 years. Good luck.

So I’m 21 weeks pregnant now I have MS and I’ve been diagnosed by two years ago kind of similar to yourself but pregnancy is like you said kind of good for it but my doctors realistic with me about the risk of relapse after birth and we’re taking out the cautions we can but it is scary and there’s very little contact on here about women with their pregnant with a ms . My doctor is making sure I induced at 34 weeks they can give me an assisted birth and try to avoid caesarean so that I can be back on the medication quickly to avoid relapse as much as we can. I’m not gonna lie it’s super scary I’m very grateful to have your contact here it really helps to hear from another mom😊

I know this is a laaaatttte comment, but I take Gabapentin. What I did was have my doctor prescribe 100mg capsules, therefore I can take a low dose and if I am really having any issues I take 2 capsules about 2-3 hours before bedtime. If I take it too close to bedtime, it’s hard for me to get up on time the next morning. Considering the things I’ve read and seen, I too have a fairly mild case. I recently started back on Copaxone due to new lesions, and I thought Copaxone is the one drug with the mildest side effects. Good luck to you 👍
