I was diagnosed with MS May 2017. I am 37. I just found out I’m pregnant. I was told it was very unlikely I would conceive. I’m in shock and terrified.

Hello from Germany, I just watched your video and when you said you had to try several neurologists it reminded me of what I went through in the early years, before I got diagnosed with MS. I am 48 years old, living in southern Germany, North Bavaria, to be exact. I have two kids, age 26 and 29. My daughter is married and has three adorable kids, my grandkids! My son is living ain France close to Geneva. He is a PhD at the CERN. Well, in 2008 everything started with strong migraines (or what I thought were migraines) and I had to stay home from work so often. My doctor sent me to a neurologist, who did the common examinations and toldm e I would need psychatric help. He never saw me again! The next neurologist told me, if I'd loose wight I would instantly get better. He never saw me again! Then I found a neurologist, a woman. I tried. And she was great! After I told her what I was going through she sent me to get an MRI done as fast as possible. After the images were done I came back to her office and she sat me down with a sad face and she said, that she wants me to go into the hospital for closer examinations and a spinal tab. I was very concerned. But I went to hospital, went through all the examninations, interviews and spinal tab. In the afternoon the same day a young doctor came into my room and sat down at the side of my bed (I had to lay in bed for 24 hours after the spinal tab) and said: Madam, I am sorry to tell you, but the results came back with the diagnosis of MS. I am a nurse, I know what MS is and so I asked him, what to do in that case. He gave several advices ,as I was working as a busdriver then I asked about medication that didn*t affect me too much. He said there's none, so I decided not to take medicine first. I first wanted to go home and work and think about everything and discuss with my husband. This was 2012 in October. After I talked to family and friends and my doctor at home I decided to take no medication, only substitute vitamin D3, inject vitaminB12 and get iV steroids every 8 weeks to stop inflammatory processes and prevent new ones. It worked pretty well, my migraines, which were results of inflammatory processes in my head decreased to a tolerable level and working got easier for me, until June 2016. Then Fatigue hit me like a sledgehammer and I had to immediately stop driving from one minute to another. I am retired for about a year now, my walking is so bad now that I use a wheelchair for longer distances and when it is hot outside I can't go out at all. Brainfog and dizziness, balance issues and Fatigue make my days LOL! I am now starting to take Ocrevus and I hope this will help to stop developing new lesions in my brain and spinal cord. Thanks so much for your open words and I am so glad you are doing fine! Have a good time with your family! All the best for you! sincerely Britta

Britta Roth wow thank you so much for sharing your story! You have been through so much. I'm so thankful my diagnosis was fast, I've heard so many people who have similar stories to yours, taking years to get a diagnosis. Finding the right Dr. can be tough! I wish you much love on your journey. Thanks for watching my channel. -Sarah
