Why did you keep it then release it later? . Just catch n rellease if it isnt right . Dur Edit: Hawaiian 80% the last of my kind in these times I'm 25, catch what your gonna eat. If that's bait then u good but why stop fishing . You put him in the freezer and he is alive? Oohhh boi this video might be bs or that's just bad stuff your doing. That's why Hawaii we get the best fish Edit edit: plus when we catch our first that's even legal size. We return it for luck and then BANG we catch Ahi

I've seen some chinese guy put a fish in liquid nitrogen. He knocked on it, and it sounded like wood. He put it back in water, and it came back to life. Was a while ago, so idk if the video was reversed, but i dont think it was.

You can freeze them over night and put them in a bucket of water the next morning and they will start swimming in a short period of time.

My great grandfather used to catch big catfish at Susquehanna river back in the day and he said he just put them in wet burlap and they’d be fishing for the whole week up there in the cabin and they stay alive pretty much the whole time

Crappie can do it too. I caught a 11 inch black crappie ice fishing, left him on the ice and in a pile of snow over night. Then I was gonna filet him so I thawed him out in the sink. He started swimming. So I put him in my fish tank for a year and then I eventually put him into my parents pond where he lived happily ever after

He took bullheads out of a pond that was dried up and cracking and they rehydrated in our cattle trough and lived in there for weeks until we used them for bait. They can be wrinkled up and dry and they’ll still come back

My dad once caught a fat ass suckerfish in a river and he gutted it and left it on the bank (invasive species). And when he was coming back from up river many hours later he tossed it back in for the animals to eat and that sumbitch swam UPSTREAM. Talk about zombie fish, ill never forget that

Little bullhead are resilient! They tried to dredge a lake here because of the carp population. Only thing they didn't stock back into the lake was bullhead. It is, once again, the most common fish to catch in said like. Just like the good ol days!
