Good question! The water was very cold but perfect for the hot weather in kern to dip in and cool off but not swim in. The current was very strong and I HIGHLY suggested that you do not swim in it. As the locals told my husband and I “the river is unforgiving and do not let your kids swim in it, they will drown”

It’s a good location, close walk to the showers, market and the office, creek view, has some shade however it is a small site, so if you have two cars it’ll be a tight squeeze just as you see it in the video. We didn’t have an RV but we managed to squeeze 2 tents, a truck and an SUV. The table is moveable so just move it for more space. It’s about 2 to 3 minute walk to river.

Awesome video! How many vehicles and tents do they allow at that location?

@@Dave_Ooh it’s 8 people per site but to be honest we were over lol and it’s 2 vehicles per site… again we were over lol there is guest parking but we didn’t park our extra vehicles, we were fortunate enough to choose the right site that accommodated to my whole group lol
