$40 a night? You get what ya pay for. I love a challenge though so I totally would do what you did.

We’ve had better boondocking sites for free! The campground was perfectly fine for small rigs. Cheers Steve

We’ve pulled our 5th wheel through some challenging spots like this. Can’t help with the trees, but if the washouts are too deep, try stacking your boards in the low spots to build a makeshift spacer to drive over. We have 2 sets of stacking “LEGO” blocks that we use for this. They’re easy to get to confirm to the shape of the washout.
@SailingLifeonJupiter16 сағат бұрын
Good idea. We could’ve used our wood blocks also… might have been lighter than that big rock I dragged over! Cheers MF

What a shocking trailer, way to low.
@jimshanks94953 күн бұрын
That home of yours is not some week-end runabout. It is not designed and i told you this before, for conditions like this so why do you run head on into disaster? You are a pilot?

@jimshanks9495 Ever seen a plane break their suspension or flatten a tire in an air pocket?
@jimshanks949516 сағат бұрын
@@theTeslaFalcon au, yes; however, an air pocket is usually unavoidable but holes in the roads are! Common sense; you do not bring a monster trailer like that into an area with those road conditions. period.
@theTeslaFalcon9 сағат бұрын
@jimshanks9495 Because everyone knows all the road conditions they're getting into before they go there when the area is designed and advertised for those very trailers. And, of course, rain never changes conditions from how they were orginally designed, even overnight compared to the last time u went down that same road. As a trucker w 10 yrs in the oilfield, I've taken many monster trailers (13'6" tall & 50+' long) where they "shouldn't" go. Our trailers were steel & designed for off-roading. RVs aren't even designed for continuance occupancy.
@jimshanks94953 күн бұрын
i followed the both of you since the very early years. Remember that fiasco with the banking? Entering that 'campground' would not have been my choice. Do you realize that if your camper got damaged there that insurance would not cover it? The reason would be "Unnecessary Risk Taking".
@lazzj49953 күн бұрын
That campground is a fail for everyone no matter what size - unless you are camping with a tractor. We are hooked waiting for that next episode😢

Between the branch and tree, you could have used a slip knot and then wrapped the line around the trunk of that other tree and back to the knot between them which would have been a 3 to 1 purchase and brought that line back to a rolling hitch knot.
@96chevydually6.5L4 күн бұрын
Time for beer 30 after that one. Might be worth while to add some Air ride bags on those axles so you can lift the trailer just a bit

You could always trade that thing in for an off road trailer like an MDC or a Pause. Those American trailers and RV's are not even close to what Australia makes.

Got halfway through and can’t watch any more. You don’t know what you are talking about. You lack the general mechanical ability to critique these machines. Your criticisms are weak, and many solutions are merely coincidental. Please don’t offer to fix anything on someone else’s boat, you don’t have a clew (pun intended).

Turn the clutch knob CCW and you will disconnect needle for bobbin winding. Every teenager that has taken a high school sewing class since the beginning of time knows that. Read the instructions.

I used to use a Bernina denim machine in the 2012 era for my tow strap/adjustable strap business.... I since sold it years ago but inherited my Mother-In-Law's 90's era Singer Heavy Duty, ( Model # 4830C 'Easy Stitch))and I found it easily handles my #92 Bonded Polyester thread to make straps and slings!!! Amazing machine. I only need straight and zigzag stitch but it does 18 different stitches. So happy that I have something that will due until I find an industrial beast...........

I’m retired now but I spent over 35 years working in thevWoodworking Industry I’ve also owned 17 or 18 boats in my Lifetime About 20 years ago I purchased a Industrial Walking Foot Sewing Machine and the man I purchased it from was honest that it was a Chinese Clone of the Old White Sewing Machine and that Patent had Expired so that allowed me to people to copy them mine is Identicaltothe barracuda minus the handle which BTW I used to buy those handles I bulk for under $7.00 each that we used on custom WoodenTooboxes webuilt for our Emloyees .? All the parts from the Sailrite or Barracudda Fit perfect on my Machine which onEBay is marketed under several names the man I purchased my machine from told me the same thing on the phone Iveused my Machine on lots of Sunbrella and heavy duty Automotive Vinyl Upholstery to match very closely to Older GeneralMotors Factory Seats ! My machine is over 20 years old and I have had no issues with it yet I keep it oiled and adjusted (tuned) to my liking I’ve also Sewn Vinyl onto 1/8” MDF Substrate to use as Door Cards To match the VinylInterior I’ sewed I personally bought the machine for doing my own canvas and marine Vinyl mostly to meet the Schedulesi created as locally I had two Canvas Shops that did great work but always had a long backlog
