Sailboat - A machine lost in time and forever timeless... A modern device still dependent on the principles of levers, mechanical advantage, and block and tackle... equipment more appropriate to the building of a pyramid than the moving of a yacht.

When I grew up as a kid some 60 or so years ago and we experienced cyclones, we learnt that we had to shut up the windward side of the garage we were playing ping pong in and open up the windows on the leeward side to stop the roof from lifting off. I would suggest that based on my experiences of long ago that windows should be held closed on the windward side of the van and allowed to open a tad on the leeward side so that the air pressure in the van did not rise too high so that the window did not pop off the side of the van. Just a thought.

Certainly a pressure differential on those windy days Tom.

I like that funny picture of your family at 9:30 into the video. What magnet did you get for America to put on your refrigerator?
@SailingLifeonJupiter5 ай бұрын
Princess has toooo many magnets.... I'm concerned about our trailer being over weight now!

It appears that you seem to be enjoying your RVing experiences more than sailing? Having an income, a decent career allowing for expenses as well as combined back to back days off are big contributions to the joyous adventures ?

I'd rather be sailing U_K. But at my age, i gotta start thinking of a retirement kitty. Too many expensive toys! But yes, we still get to do some adventuring. Will be back to Mexico soon for some boat lovin.

Why aren't you guys sailing
@SailingLifeonJupiter5 ай бұрын
Working in the US at the mo, 17 days on 13 off, and sailing on a limited schedule like that kinda sux. Enjoying seeing what the US mainland has to offer for now. But Kris, we will be back at the boat in the fall/winter for some maintenance/upgrades. Thanks for watching.

so sad to see you guys going through the problems with your trailer, but that industry is putting out junk, when you took panels off to do your wiring job, and revealed their wiring mess disgusting
@SailingLifeonJupiter5 ай бұрын
They're sure not made to be moved very often!.. Cheers Martin

You should change your channel name because it's not sailing with Jupiter anymore. No Mumby no watch!

Thought long and hard about that Chris. We will be back to the boat in Mexico in the fall for some repairs/upgrades.
