it always saddens me to see cast iron skillets thrown away unless they are cracked. the most cruddy of them can be thrown in a bucket of water and vinegar they can be restored and will literally last hundreds of years if taken care of.

Judging by the amount of scrap you had there you can get 10 times the amount with a small pick up, which roughly is 100- 150 bucks. That's an honest days income if you ask me.👍

actually going onto private property to dumpster dive is technically illegal. its trespassing if you go onto private business property to dig in their dumpster.and you can be cited . stuff on the curb is free and clear.most businesses dont want dumpster divers due to liability of someone getting hurt. even a damn tresspasser can sue the property owner if they get hurt.

Those types of pallets aren’t worth picking up around here. $1 each if they are taking that kind of pallet that day. I think 38” bye 30” 4 way pallets with the 2 notch on 2 sides at the bottoms open through the other way. $4 is better than they got watching sitting there being lazy is the way I see it. 😂
