These cats gave the best concerts any group could've possibly gave. George and the gang were so creative with the funk. No band in history were more funkier.

Simply the best guitar solo of all time. I was lucky enough to see George Clinton & The P Funk All Stars at the Brixton Academy around 89 at the time it was voted in the top 10 concerts of all time in Rolling Stone magazine

It baffles me as to why Eddie Hazel is rarely mentioned in music circles by anyone except the most avid guitarists. I never hear non musicians (music fans) talk about him. That's a crime! He should be as well known as Hendrix, Clapton, Vaughan, etc. He was a blues guitarist through and through, but managed to blend his blues style into the funk music of Parliament and make it sound phenomenal!

Must of been tough arranging the music George hears in his head and then to play it that way. Tough gig I’m sure then add hallucinogenics. Now that’s a party till ya try to play back consistently sober. Can’t imagine doing it.

The more Phucked Up they were the better the performance.. P-Funks were an assortment of the most unbridled talent on stage ever, and George was the Pimp 🎶💚🌿.

IT WAS THIS SONG THAT GOT MICHAEL THE JOB..... George saw him playing this song note for note... At the age of 17.... He couldn't believe it.... Cuz like George said 'nobody can play that song but Eddie. That was all it took... Thus' Kid Funkadelic was born. 🎸🤘🏾

DC started the party 2 weeks ahead waiting for the Mother ship Connection. All they had to play one beat in the dark and we lit the Capitol center up. We were bent over, spaced out, tricked out, wine out, but Mellow. We kept jamming. Good, Good sweet memories 😮😮😮😮❤❤
