Nice jet. If only it had bigger engines it would have been perfect.

This was prior to the Republican Management that decided to do what Ford & GM do. Ford selected a rather crude, but effective placement of gas tanks with a piercing device very close by to insure combustion. GM chose a more engineering approach with a less obvious constilation of occurrences, like deactivating airbags, turning off power steering and brakes, perhaps even locking the steering wheel too... GM's Special Ignitions worked brilliantly for a decade. Boeing, however, really rolled out a marketing program with their Boeing Roulette; IF you want all the necessary Bolts 🔩, make sure you both order them and pay the upcharge. If you want both sensors so the computer doesn't Nosedive to the ground, make sure you order and pay extra because as Boeing has demonstrated, without both, you dont stand a chance. If you want gaskets that hold, order them and pay extra - or just wait until they blow-out and replace them and yhe door. Etc. You'd be surprised what all extra you must order and pay extra for - simply to live - hence the Boeing Roulette program.

With those winglets the Citation X is possibly the most beautiful executive aircraft out there. Too bad it's so cramped inside. The market has decided that giving up a bit of speed for a LOT of space is the way to go.

that'll probably be first implemented as a new way for Boeing planes to bring you to the crash site faster... 🤤 hoping the FAA will not let that double stupid💩 ever happen. 😒

I flew the Falcon 50EX for several hundred hours and truly enjoyed it; it flies like a fighter jet! That is also why I am wanting to get back on Falcons (I currently fly BD-500s and -700s).

Wouldn't it be better as a owner to pay the upgrade to a Universal or 21 vs parting it out? I have a hard time wrapping my head around to cost of maintaining a 25 year old jet compared to selling it and buying newer. Especially with most being able to write off those maintenance events. Love to see you brake down cost of maintaining a G4 or G200 or 50ex.

@@dennisrousseau9432 @dennisrousseau9432 now i'd like to know more about this "Maglite Flashlight wardrobe" and if it's retrofittable for less than $250k in a 7x... 😏👆 more seriously, even etsy "shops" selling garden concrete gummy bears have slicker copywriting and pictures than multimillion jets ads in a market when lots of offloading is taking place... 😑

Thanks for the update. still confused how Trump spend 12 trillion in 4 years. Luckily Biden being a fiscal conservative is spending less per GDP since the Clinton administration.

In your reference to the GV, its first flight was in Nov 95 and entered service (SN507) in June 97. The Global Express fist flew in Oct 96, so it seems unlikely that it was certified and entry into service in Feb 97 ahead of the GV. Otherwise, excellent report!

Mr Rousseau, your aircrafft info is great. Can you hold off or tone down your political observations. All the issues you covered are not Joe Biden's fault, but structural changes in our economy have been affecting us for at least 20 years. Ok. I like your reports, but please let the politics go.
