I got my wheels from a seller on ebay. I also looked at Rocky Mountain Motorcycle ATV. Through all my searching, I only found maybe 3 or 4 wheel designs that had the offset I needed, and most were available on ebay.

Changes? In performance? I really haven't noticed a difference in performance, but I drive like an old man. It is louder than stock (obviously), but not terrible. I've pulled a trailer hauling lumber twice (less than 3000lbs) with this intake and it pulled well. When the torque converter unlocks, the intake is pretty loud, until the transmission downshifts to 3rd, then noise isn't bad at all. Overall, it's a decent kit for $70.

@lsriley2 Жыл бұрын
I think it's plenty loud, but I only connected it to 5.25" and 6" full range speakers (no subs and no external amp), installed in a side-by-side. The sound quality is good enough for me, but I need to add an amp and sub so I can hear the lower frequencies. For the cost, yes, I recommend it.

Do you still own and ride it? Looking at a used Victory Vegas myself. Thanks.
@lsriley2 Жыл бұрын
I do still own it, replacing the gas tank now. The original tank had some pinholes from rust in the tank and started leaking fuel. Sadly, I haven't ridden it much since Sturgis in 2015. Lack of riding probably helped cause the rust in the tank. Victory is a good bike, but parts will be harder to find in a few years. If you get one, try to get it for a deal! I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Hey Jack, these pipes are the "Jokers" by Hacker (www.hackercustomexhaust.com). I don't know if you can still get the Jokers. If not, you may be able to find a set of pipes that look similar, such as a slash cut tip, you could cut the tip square if you don't like the slash cut look.

Bought and have now used mine twice. Worked perfectly to pull a 4x4 onto my trailer without issue. There are a couple gripes tho. First, the eyelets on the provided cables are too wide to fit under the solenoid cover. Took a bit of tinkering to get it wired. Second, the cable swage (that lump of metal crimped at the end) is too fat to fit between the rollers. Accidentally snugged the cable too much and it got stuck. A hard tug got it back out, but still annoying.

@lsriley23 жыл бұрын
It sounds good. For a single 10 in a compact box, it added plenty of low end without drowning out the highs. It cannot perform like a large box with two 12s, but this definitely added some volume to the low frequencies that door speakers couldn't produce. For the cost, I'd say it was worth it.

I haven't been able to find much info on this winch either, other than it looks identical to the PE5000 except the controller, so I called MileMarker, and confirmed, it is exactly the same base winch as the PE5000, except it just is shipped directly from MM, in the plain cardboard box instead of the fancy, colorful box you would see sitting on a shelf in a retail setting. The only other difference is the control as you said. I also did confirm with the guy that the IP rating is IP67. He also told me that the warranty is 2 years.

Is it simple to wire this to a rockville 8 channel marine amp
@lsriley23 жыл бұрын
This should connect easily to a Rockville 8ch amp. This headunit has 6 rca output connectors (2 front, 2 rear and 2 subwoofer). The Rockville RMX8BT series amp has 4 inputs, so with the RGHR2 headunit you could use the 2 front and 2 rear outputs - OR - you could use the 2 subwoofer outputs and either the 2 front or the 2 rear outputs. Giving you options to use full range speakers on each amp output channel or a combination of full range on half the amp and subs on the other half. You could other combinations also to suit your needs. You'd have options is what I'm trying to say. If you get the RMX8BT amp, I'd turn off the amp bluetooth function and use the headunit bluetooth connection for streaming music instead. I see Rockville also released a new marine headunit, the model RGHR45, which labels the various rca outputs "modes" and allows independent control for the volume of each. It has a square design and colored display, it also costs more. You might consider it as an option as well. I don't remember it being available when I bought mine.
@ncurc97663 жыл бұрын
@@lsriley2 thanks for the great response, my plan was to run 8 speakers on each channel of the amp using the 2 front and rear outputs from the head unit, then using the two sub outputs from the head unit to power a small sub, hope it all works out

David, I connected it to the positive terminal near the battery, I think it is on a relay post? I show this at the end of the video from 25:20 - 25:50 timeframe. This is exactly what I've been looking for! I just bought an X4 for the family, and want to do this kind of install. The price for decent tower speakers is just ridiculous! Quick question- What would the maximum speaker mounting depth be for the top? I have some speakers, but they aren't low profile. Just wondering if I might need spacers to install them. Thanks again, and hope y'all have a Merry Christmas!
@lsriley23 жыл бұрын
@Jeremy Baker I didn't take measurements of total depth in the roof, I estimate it was around 1.25" to 1.5". The pictures that inspired me to do this used spacers and higher quality speakers. You should be able to find polymer spacers at Crutchfield, Sonic Electronix, etc. If you need them. Merry Christmas to you as well!
