My very first professional-level ride cymbal was this exact model; I got mine in the fall of 1985. (I was inspired to get it after falling in love with the sound from Stewart Copeland on "Synchronicity" and Kelly Keagy on Night Ranger albums.) This demo cymbal sounds exactly - and I mean exactly - like I remember my old ride sounding! Man, does Paiste know how to hold onto a sound! Great, now I want to buy a new one. Thanks, guys. LOL

The dark energy series are hands down the best cymbals I've ever owned/played. Paiste raised the bar with these.

Bought these back in 2017 and they make a nice pair of „leave in any rehearsal space“ hats. They even sound pretty decent for the price point.

Can't hear the flats at all compared to the hats and snare. The paper thin sticks aren't doing him any favors. Surprised Paiste posted this without trying to at least mic or mix the cymbals so that they are audible.

This video and CARL PALMER made me buy this beauty. Stick definition, cut through sound, bright and low. The perfect ride exists!

amazing. please give us the specifics of model/size/weight of cymbals you use for each live and recording specific to each song (as you mentioned) and each venue with specifics to size/dimensions/etc. and most importantly your specific reasons why for each combination. THANK YOU!

Similar. Blue label slightly higher pitch / crisper harmonic presence. A unique, silvery presence. I used to own the 13 " blue label model.

I was watching so that I could learn for sure how 'PAISTE' is pronounced. I would have liked this video more if we had been better introduced to the visitor who spoke. Never seen him before. Room reverb ruined this video. Please get and use personal mics.

Great cymbals. I have owned some myself. Great job on the video actually giving a clean representation of what each cymbal sounds like in context, without being so raucous with showing out that we can hear the cymbals clearly.

@augustdrums1247 0 seconds ago I just converted to the reflector Signatures and they absolutely incredible. I just started a country project and was thinking, man I'm going to have to buy all new cymbals. Not the case, even though these say Heavy on them they are very melodic and sound so rich. If you want to give a listen check it out and let me know what you think. I was super impressed. They are worth every penny. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpaooZKbZ9iGqNk

Here it is! The Paiste budget line blowing other brand's "professional" lines off their cymbal stands! 💪
@dalekay9ine8 күн бұрын
Seriously! I started on a complete set of Paiste 802s and when I go back listen to the record I used them on, done at a professional studio, I'm always still amazed at just how great all the cymbals sound! I have signatures, masters and dark energy now days but those 802s were a hell of a band for their buck ratio!!!
