Just a word of caution here from a domino player: it's probably best to NOT use the larger glitter on the top part of the dominoes and they should be a flat color because when you lay them out for players to choose, they shouldn't have anything identifying them. Players shouldn't be able to think "this one has more glitter" or "this one has no glitter on this corner" to identify a specific domino.

Good instructions. unfortunately, I don't believe this is for the 30" scroll saw stand. For example the Long Top Shelf piece on the 30" stand does not have 6 holes in the Long Top Shelf piece as shown in the video. (4:10). Also, the TLS piece cannot bolt to the OUTSIDE of the frame as stated and shown in the video ((4:15). It only fits if you bolt it to the INSIDE of the frame. I would like to have seen the leveling feet with the double nut set up explained. When assembling the bottom shelf piece does it matter whether you attach the short tie bars first or the long tie bars? Thanks.

Do you soak your wood first? Like a wood oil for smoother strokes or for the grain cut to be easier especially when going against the grain ? Do you create marbling like in meats?

So you cut two layers at same time? Of all pieces ? I'm so confused. Just got my scroll saw put together. Had it 2 years 😮 just to make sure, you glued two pieces of MDF together? Different thickness ?

Thank you for the detailed video! I'm curious if you sanded the back? Some video say the domino's will have sharp edges.

Hello, can you tell me how good the cutting quality of the band saw is? Is it much different from a scroll saw? I would like to use it as an alternative to improve performance, but I doubt the cleanliness of the cut. Thank you

Newbie here! I used this technique & then sprayed the dominoes with polyurethane for a glossy finish after sanding….they smell so strong. Should I have not done that? What should I have done instead?
