If you finance or pay cash for the car, then the car still depreciates all the same. I don’t look at cars as an “Asset.” I ok at the car as either a tool to get tax write offs, or I look at a car as a means of transportation. I could care less about the rate that the car depreciates. You’re going to pay for depreciation in one form or another.

Leases are not the biggest scam, thats too much of a broad term. Bad leases at terrible interest rates sure. However for those that are able to get really good rates, it comes down to renting the vehicle instead of owning it and putting up with everything required for ownership.
