We have had our racecar CF panels fixed for minuscule costs, where plastic could not even hope to be repaired. Also on actual racecars the splitters tend to be structural elements where striking the ground would allow the cf splitter to easily take more than the cars weight in force. Plastic cannot do this. People will look at this review and not understand It. he is giving Porscye a license to print even more money and Porsche is not taking it. This is similar to Ferrari refusing to build manual cars despite the fact that they could charge hundreds of thousands of dollars more. It's actually fraud against the shareholders.

Problem 1. A non-problem. Will cost the same to get it from private party + you will have all the OG parts to recoup some costs. Problem 2. Also not a really a problem. It is not made of sugar, use some force. Problem 3. Your problem is that they have more seat options??? Problem 3a. You compare a gtr3rs to a STO which has a 2x higher MSRP? You chose to pay $100k+ over sticker to get the car. Problem 4. Choose better dealers to avoid some stuff you mentioned and stop enabling that behavior by overpaying for stuff. Problem 5. I can't believe he just compared gt3rs to a senna. SMH. A car that costs $1.5 million. A work of art. Problem 6. OK, a small point made. And here is my review of his review. Thank you for tuning in. Bye. PS. 1.I prefer the 992.1(over the 992.2) GT3 over the 992.1 GT3rs. Recent price drops on those (~$40k) are nice but still $20k-$40k over MSRP. We will see if they can get to msrp in a year.

I think people complaining about the comparison with the Senna and STO based on sticker price completely missed the point , he even went as far as to say he's OK with the GT2 RS being plastic at the bottom,, which I don't think anyone can argue is lesser track-oriented. It's that there are other (he'd say even more) track-oriented street cars that fare just as well with carbon bits. He could have pointed at a M4 CS if it was around, because at that price point this is just shrinkflation at its best. How much more gimmicks can be marketed as "because race car" before the GT3 Cup becomes the better option, if the price is going up and it's less "clean" than a 991 GT3 RS? Not saying I completely agree, some of this stuff is completely subjective, but I appreciate someone putting these thoughts forward.

Great video. I had one of the lower end Porsches for three years. Yes, it rides as if it's on rails. But, not one of my friends liked the ride nor the sound (again, it was a lower end Porsche). Most actually preferred the Corvette Stingray (2016) I had prior to the Porsche--talk about overuse of plastic and wild fishtailing! Nonetheless, they liked the American over the German. If you choose to sell this car, what are you looking to get for it in terms of total out-the-door price?

It’s a car that’s designed to be driven on the track. It’s one of the examples of track cars that can legally be driven on the road. If I recall correctly the spring rate of the GT3 RS is some 50 percent stiffer than the GT3. That is not something that can be comfortable driven on the road by the average person for too long. You made the conscious decision to pay $100k plus over sticker for it. You compare it to the Lamborghini. It’s rare you see Lamborghini’s and other exotics on the track because owners are afraid of breaking them and damaging the precious carbon fiber. I feel you should have bought a 911 touring or an ST. That GT3 RS, with a skilled driver can beat most of the cars in your collection around a track.

I get it, I was literally looking at options to replace the plastic, but yes it is for the track and the fact you mention that the lamb is a track car, have you taken it on the track? most lambos are garage queens and the most amount of miles you put on it a few thousand miles. Porsche's are meant to be on the track, so although I agree it should have carbon instead of plastic, but the fact its cheaper to replace the plastic that fuckin up 50k worth of carbon, I'd take the plastic all day. especially if you track the fuck out the RS. but if you want to add carbon, you can add it. not to bash you because you have a great collection. maybe doing this for content.

I agree with a lot of your sentiments on the GT3 RS. It looks like Porsche took a regular GT3 and then riced it out with a bunch of cheap Autozone parts. I know they’re functional but the aesthetics are quite jarring. When they first announced this thing I was shocked no one was calling this out.
