Not true. Before the income tax, the federal government was primarily funded via tariffs. Price controls lead to shortages, tariffs do not.

There is probably something like 20 billion ounces in above ground ground silver stocks. If silver hits $200 per ounce then a lot of this silver will be freed up! If silver hits $200 per troy, then 1 KG will be $6,000+.

Silver doesn't follow gold's gradual and steady increase over time. It jumps-up and fades-out and jumps up again (what it's doing now). Watch a plot of the gold-to-silver ratio to see this effect.

Average yearly salary in 1970 = $9180 Price of gold in 1970 = $35 oz. $9180 ÷ 35 = 262.28 ozs. Gold price today $2500 oz. 262.28 × $2500 = $655,714.28 Is the average man's salary $655,714.28 presently? This is how badly we've been robbed by the Fed and their sycophants in Congress!

Most people are not and can not afford gold at meaningful levels. When I see gold skyrocket silver will follow because it will be affordable for a short time for normal people and they will not want to miss out of either the rising wave or the crashing dollar. Silver isn't a get rich scheme but a prevent homeless starving scenario. The volatility is a major sign of the loss of control hang in there.
