Quite so... and the diction is amazing. A choir of 50 with that level of crispness on the consonants is beyond excellent - "Don'T ever looK bacK!"

The tie is green & he is not a 'lawbreaker'!! The final year students who perform solos are allowed to be in concert dress instead of school uniform (see the girl in the black dress on the right). He played the slow movement of the Bruch violin concerto earlier in the concert.

Its actually pretty standard for school uniforms in the UK. I personally go to an all girls school and we still have ties like this as part of the unifrom.

No - not required when you're trained to project like this choir has been. Its down to diaphragm support which is why opera singers don't need a microphone. Excellent acoustics help as well. This chior won a national competition as Senoir School Choir of the Year 2011

So many opinions on ties, static, not static, bitching about the teacher, bitching about the kids. My god if you don't like leave the page you don't have to be negative? Way more talented than most of the rubbish in the charts these days! Clearly some people just don't realise how hard it is to get groups of people to sound like that like.

Nah! That's my son... in his final year at EA. By tradition, 'leavers' are not in uniform. He was a soloist in the concert, playing the 2nd movement of the Bruch violin concerto with the school orchestra... That tie is lime green BTW. Following his BMus at Glasgow Uni and BA in audio production at SAE Glasgow he's still a musician - check The Close Sessions on FB and A Maxwell singer songwriter

Hi the song sounds fantastic, and lot's of schoolmates agreed in trying to make this on our own. Did you use sheets? If yes, is it may possible to send them to me? Or did you just analyze the original and acapella versions of it to bring it? We could make it this way too, but I thought if there are sheets available... :D Again: it's amazing what you did there!

If this had been recorded properly with some real production (what about the other groups in the college to help out and learn their craft too??) it would have been as good as GLEE's cover.
