It’s a start…Celebration and Seaside started out as “fake” towns too…it takes time. I think they are making an effort to create a walkable town center…vs just tract homes with no infrastructure…that is what is killing FL IMO…

My Washingtonia robusta spear pulled. It never got really cold but we had a lot of rain. Only had frost a couple times. Can palms spear pull from too much rain? Live near Portland Oregon zone 8b/9a. The temperature so far should not have damaged the robusta, so the cool rainy weather can cause the damage? I cut the robusta and pulled out the spear and made a rain cover. Will wait until summer to see if it will recover

I get my red palm oil from small farms. I love how the west African do their palm, and planting it around other trees, crop. And do it on a smaller scale, unlike the palm oils from asia*.

Can you please answer a palm question for me? I live in Palm Springs, ca. I'm going to purchase a large copernicia fallaensis or copernicia baileyana. I already have a very small baileyana that seems to be thriving in the hot desert. Since I have a baileyana that is doing very well I thought I'd try a fallaensis. Before I invest quite a lot of money in purchasing fallaensis I want to ask you if you think it would be as tolerant of dry heat and drought tolerant like baileyana. Are they the same in drought tolerance and heat tolerance or is baileyana more so? Thank you so much. Have a great day.

Can you make it all the way up to Siesta key on that road?
@TheCfkingfish2 ай бұрын
@@nathanielalgernon975 good question. On a map it looks like you could, but there is a park where the road ends. During Hurricane Milton, an inlet that was previously filled in called Midnight Pass is back! Google Midnight Pass for a more detailed story.
@nathanielalgernon9752 ай бұрын
I wonder why they don't pave that road, or is it paved but has sane all over it? I can see where that's out on a map, I would think they would pave that unless they want to keep cars off of it and keep it more secluded.

Hi Palm Father. I’ve got a few of the newer 10-15 ft. Queen Palms that got the spear blowout from Hurricane Milton. Is the spear treatment of Hydrogen Peroxide only that, or do you mix that with water to dilute it? How often do you need to apply the Hydrogen Peroxide treatment? Thank you! 2:02
