How did you get the tardis model to not show the otherside when its materialising??? Did you export two separate videos, one as the back plate and the other with the Tardis on top to make it like that?

Hey! I know its been a while since you did your Dalek voice tutorial but could you go over how you did the other Dalek voice recreations? (Imperial Daleks, 60s daleks etc) and maybe put the file out for download? Would love to get the effects down as good as yourself

I made it as if 'Liberation of the Daleks' was an episode instead of a comic and had a next time trailer, given 'Destination Skaro' is set right after 'Liberation of the Daleks'. I do mention that in the title and the description 😅

Hang on, the Tardis have been playing up since this special, as it also flies in very quickly and not smoothly. so something happened between the 13th and 14th regeneration to cause it to go haywire. also a good edit.

It's believed that the Flux affected her and that's why she malfunctions and it actually makes sense, like the Doctor rebooted her in the New Year's special, but it wasn't until 14th arrived with Donna that she was able to change the console room.

Just seems too long tbh. Maybe if it were a "coming soon" instead of "next time" then you could've added clips from all three specials.

I had actually considered doing a coming soon trailer, but I opted to do just a next time one instead as the first special was a week after 'Destination Skaro', so it would have been a bit too close to have a coming soon trailer and I wanted to include a credit sequence for 'Destination Skaro' as well. The length of this trailer was a deliberate choice though! Next time trailers for special episodes were often longer than normal ones, and with this one being the first 60th Special, it made sense for it to be a longer one.

‘Ossified’ stone Daleks stalking a museum was such a genius idea; I wish Moffat had restricted it to just that concept for the finalé or even made it its own self-contained story, maybe a tale whereby a duo / trio of stone Daleks have to get to the basement to retrieve some ossified ‘doomsday device’ or something, kinda like a ‘Genesis Ark’-like macGuffin . . .

The Cast list thought is confusing, I assume that's the idea. Like Bernice Summerfield? Susan Twist? Harbinger?!? Verity Newman, or Sydney Lambert?

Half the cast list was actually suggested by a friend of mine, aha. He came up with all of the cast names for Georgette Gold and the alien family as a little joke, although Susan Twist was my addition aha. I do plan on adding a Susan Twist character to my audio adaptation of 'Liberation of the Daleks'.

It was put on hold because of stuff that happened behind the scenes, as well as the fact I'm now at uni so I haven't had much time to work on it since. The series is still happening, just much later than intended. I put up a few updates about it in my Community section a while ago. I have another, smaller, Dalek project coming sometime this year in the meantime (reason being because it would be a lot quicker to make than this one and I want to get something Dalek related out again while people wait for the Cult of Skaro series).

Great stuff! I’m working towards making a mat/demat animation for my AWJ box, but I’ve ran into some problems. I’ve setup the fade in/out effect by grouping a mix shader node from all the materials I use, connected to a transparent bsdf, which allows me to change the transparency of all the object of my model from one channel. How did you manage to do this without the inside sections of your model showing?

I'll be honest, all I did was render 2 versions of the scene and mixed them together, fading in and out aha. 1 version with the TARDIS and 1 without. 😅

@@TheLoneDalek2021 I worked out how to do it and fixed the problem. I Can now make it fade in and out exactly how it’s supposed to, just by messing with a material nodes channel.
