$400 and the pawn shop owner didn't even give a guitar case for that Tele?... definitely that's was a good deal for him 😅

For those of us here for the actual tune, i think it’s something made up, not an actual tune. But if you search Pawn Shop Blues by Jeremy James you will find him playing the whole version without all the background sounds and he even teaches you how to play it for yourself 💯🤙

Easily one of my top five favorite movies of all time! First saw around 1988 introduced me to the blues and kicked off my passion for one to play the guitar, then playing guitar for 30 years now thank you to those made this movie

Same here, little over year and half ago did I have a passion for blues when first hearing it. As kiddo in high school right now, you probably know not many of my peers understand that blues was the Noah’s Ark that had born modern music nowadays. Most of buds when they hear my music will always put a southern accent and some dumb dialogue. To me, it too also started my guitar playing, learning riffs and now listening what’s notes are played in songs from now on. Blues was if not maker of famous artist when they first started.

Confederate flags in a Black-owned shop. Whatever your opinion on the matter, it's undeniable that the mainstream perception is different now than it was in the 80s.

I first got a copy of this on VHS from the local radio DJ who was hosting an event outside of a Cici's Pizza in Louisiana in '96 when I was 11. Wore it out, got another copy, wound up going through 2 or 3 copies of the DVD over the next 15 years. And now 20+ years later I've probably downloaded the torrent 10 different times to rewatch it or turn someone new onto it. Forever indebted to everyone involved, this movie changed the lives of millions of people like me.

I've said in nearly every posted "Crossroads" video that has popped up. This movie is grossly underrated. It should be considered a classic and hopefully one day will be by the masses not just by some. If not, so be it.

Anyone find tabs on the first little lick at 1:30? I assume its not Raph playing so probably can't go by his fingers. Im sure its some sort of a pentatonic blues scale but just learning these scales. Would love to put this lick in my arsenal

I love the Confederate flag in the background in a black man's pawnshop. Nowadays people would pass a brick to see that. There is so much about this film that you have to see it several times to really know it.

Behringer is an exact Boss clone, according to some people it is the exact same because Behringer makes the internals of some BOSS, MXR and Ibanez pedals and than makes EXACT clones. See the article "THE ULTIMATE BEHRINGER GUITAR PEDAL CLONE LIST [2023 UPDATED]"
