The last time I sang this song in public was at an event to welcome a group of Asian students. I played guitar while a good friend (now sadly gone) sang the first two verses in English. We sang the chorus together and I sang the third verse (often omitted by many performers) in pure Scots.

I had no idea till now that Vince Gill sang this song!! I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard it on a hot summer night when I was 13. Sitting on my Nan-nan's big old front porch with my sister listening to a transistor radio, on Albert St, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Ah the angst of the teenaged years.

Susan Jacks, one of the grestest voices to ever grace the stage, and Terry Jacks, one of the most prolific singer/songrwriters in history. The pride of three provinces, Terry From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Susan from Saskatchewan and later BC, the Poppy Family took the world by storm yet is still to this day largely unknown and still being discovered by the broad masses who never got to hear their greatness in years gone by. One listen to "Which way you goin' Billy", "Seasons in the Sun", "Concrete Sea", etc, and anyone with real taste in music is hooked instantly.

2:05-2:20: I enjoy listening to Lamb Chop's Christmas list. Apparently this isn't the only time it's mentioned; it's mentioned on "Lamb Chop's Play Along" as well, in the episode: The Charlie Horse Newspaper. It's amazing that that part never got old and Lamb Chop was able to repeat her Christmas list in the 15 years since that fateful time in 1976.
