Total noob here. But what’s the purpose of doing this and having it within Apple Home? Curious to wrap my head around this, I have the ikea hub and 1 sensor now - what benefit do I get if I add these to Apple Home?

From the cheapest one(Rodulf, the one I have) to the expensive ones, with this kind of channel mechanism, all the electric sit/stand desks wobble. But there are some new ones(at least for me) out there with a different channel mechanism, that won't wobble at all. I couldn't find out the name of channel at the time when I was in the store(not ikea), but those are really expensive desks.

thanks for the 2 year review, a great video. Something to consider is the rubbing of the table top material. However comparing this table to those other gaming ones and although you cant MOD it like some others, it appears to be a good price (in the UK at least) I do have a question though, have no noticed if you use the table more in the standing position, or seating whilst working/gaming?

The commander pro has a built-in hub, so you don't need an additional hub unless you need more ports. To control the speed of the fans you need the iCue software from Corsair 🙂

There's 2 table top options. The 180cm one is only $20 more expensive in Canada.

I followed your exact steps, but sadly it didn’t work. My disk is already almost at the lowest point and when I press down after ARS blinking it goes down a little bit then hits the end and goes back up and displays the same error code E07 or E08

I fixed it by not putting the plug into an extender but straight into the wall, holding it down and then it showed the cm again

According to IKEA the max weight is 70kg, so it should handle the weight of a mini tower 🙂

I may be mistaken but I don't think he knows what he is doing. I am amazed that nobody sees that he is not cooling the MOSFETs but is cooling the capacitors. That card is going to cook as there is no thermal regulation for the MOSFETs but they are the components that generate the most heat in the VRM. Then he puts the huge heat-sink with the retaining clips in the middle of nowhere. Maybe it is used to support the main heat-sink but not cooling the MOSFETs is definitely a mistake.
