Your footage, especially through the trees, is so smooth! Awesome cinematography!

Great drone footage. Really well done!!! I, too, film a lot of (maybe mostly) sailing at our lake outside Kansas City. What kind of drone do you use?

Well this was recommended to me and it had me for a bit. I was like, "Glaciers? What? I thought it was man made . . . 38 degrees? What? My in laws claimed they used to water ski there, they would die in that water . . . . 7th largest lake in the country? WTF? . .. "

So I guess there is more than corn in Indiana...
@tylerlake78212 ай бұрын
yep, there's also *Forest Gump voice* popcorn, corn syrup, corn ethanol, high fructose corn syrup, corn fritters, kids out cornin', cornfed people, cornfed cows, corny jokes, autumnal corn decor, and of course the corn subsidy that makes it all happen.

This is not a natural lake!!!!! People just make up stories that make live easier for them.

I mean it says Indiana's Natural Wonder right there in the title, enough said. I do wish you would not come into my comments and misinform my viewers. Next thing you are going to say is that the earth is flat or that we landed on the moon.

You left out the historical fact that Christopher Columbus ordered his second captain Luis Fairfax to later sail La Pinta to find inland rivers. Fairfax and crew finally terminated their trip in lake Monroe taken in by the hospitality of an isolated matriarchal tribe of the Miami. The crew never returned and lived long and happy lives recreating with the native women. The location of this settlement is still along the banks of Monroe Lake today and was named by the state of Indiana as the Fairfax recreation area.

absolutely colossal oversight on my part. Thanks for the additional information.

I spotted the elusive chocobo during our last expedition at Lake Monroe, it was late fall and the season's chill tightened its grip and our ship became ensnared in thick ice. Stranded, we wintered in the remote depths of North Fork. As the grip of winter finally loosened and spring breathed life into the frozen landscape, a chocobo ventured from the forest's edge for a drink. Its plumage shimmered against the thawing world-a truly magnificent creature.

a rare and breathtaking experience, even that strange deep autumnal stench the lake emanates can't detract from the the childlike wonder an experience like that imparts.

The Army Corp of engineers made the lake. It's a reservoir. The lake is fed by salt creek. They actually shut down the town of Elkinsville to build the reservoir..
