Hi and thanks so much for your comment. No, I do not personally listen to a lot of jazz but all I can tell you the bass is pretty strong in these. If you asked me before purchasing I would recommend something like Moondrop Space Travel amzn.to/3UMx1C2 or Moondrop Moca amzn.to/4ex6m38 or the new ARTTI AR03 amzn.to/3Z0PA7T (I just reviewed them on this channel) for jazz listeners. Those are all more balanced. KZ in general is always aiming at the mass consumer, therefore trying to please their tastes with pretty strong, punchy sound signature. That's in GENERAL but then there are so many neuances and personal tastes that come into play. You may as well like them a lot when you receive them. Personally, I love these!

Obviously, you have a defective unit - return it and ask for a replacement!

@@thepolishpotato42 KZ have really done a good job with this TWS sets. I am super enjoying my Carol a lot. It kinda makes reimagine my taste in music because of how good they sound to me. There are some instruments i keep noticing from my favorite songs that i didn't know exist before 😂 And the fact that i recently used HT05, Mibro AC1(which is i regard the best sounding earbuds in its class) makes me even more impressed by the Carol.

These are newer and better in almost every way than the Liberty Air 2 Pro.

Hey, thanks for stopping by here and the comment! Much appreciated! That's a tough choice you're making and it will come down to details. For pure music quality I'd go with the One Plus Buds 3 Pro. I listened to them briefly and I remember being blown away. I am currently waiting for my review copy... so they are definitely coming to the channel (hopefully, soon!). The earfün Air Pro 4 is a sure bet, there is almost nothing annoying about them, they really do everything well IMHO and for a waaay better price than the L4 Pro (even phone call quality is great - you can see that in my full review). Let me know what else is important to you in making this choice!

The Golden Ages are planars so… theoretically quite a different animal. I don’t have them yet so I can’t really tell. A lot of the specs are similar. Hopefully I’ll get my hands on those, soon :)

That’s the point of the video, though… 1. What IEMs are great WITHOUT accessorizing them with additional purchases (that cost more than the IEMs themselves) and 2. if you start with a crappy driver and poorly tuned IEMs the DAC won’t fix it… so I’d rather avoid telling people “any IEM” but thanks for visiting! :)

I reviewed it myself about a year ago so - for the money - it's very decent but yes, correct - both of these sound richer, and better, overall.

@thepolishpotato42 for earbuds, anything with size options I al e as wear the smallest size. Over the ear is fine.

@@MotoMario1 the silicon is - of course - subjective, if you find it too hard there’s not much we can advise other than… replace with softer tips? There’s definitely no hissing in mine so you may have a deffective unit?

@@thepolishpotato42 Maybe they are defective. I will return them. My Oppo Enco Free2 sound much better. The ANC on them is also more usable. Only good thing on the Capsule 3 pro is that I don't need gaming mode for youtube.

If you never used IEMs before I highly recommend KZ ZAX for your firts ones - I have yet to review them but they are fairly inexpensive and they sound so good right out of the box: amzn.to/3NQT5rh
