I think this would be amazing for like bedroom producers that want to add like guitar feels to their production but don't know how to play a actual guitar I guess like each button on each fret you can make it a certain cord or put it in like a scale mode and like whatever button you hit you could like freestyle and you are being sync with like your music production and just come up with something amazing but get like the real guitar sound I guess I really love it man I was just curious I'm looking to possibly buy one I was just wondering if you could do a video with it hooked up to like a guitar VST?

to me it sounds comically bad, obviously that's a subjective opinion, but it just seems more like a toy than anything else, and to me it does really, truly sound dreadful also like, it's a synth in the shape of a guitar, but synths are better at being synths than guitars are, that's why we've had keyboard shaped synths for decades

Awesome instrument. I'd like to see it connected to a synth module like a Moog or an FM synth. So that it is not always connected to a computer. Also, I wanted to see how much MIDI can be compatible with physical synths.

I'd be very worried about the buttons longevity and just straight up going bad. Can't just re-string a stick / bad button. Maybe it's like the newer mechanical keyboards where the keys are easily replaced and customizable.

It's actually much better than that. The Kitara and Tri-bass were infamous for breaking quickly and easily and being unfixable. They're also extremely rare and overpriced now. The Nova is a significantly improved version of the original Kitara concept.

The synth preset he's using isn't great, and doing a synth cover of a prog pop song isn't a great idea, but come on man. This technology is awesome. If you can't look past the flaws of this video and see the unique possibilities with this instrument, that's your problem.
