See reaction below over Marialane :) Hi John, I also really enjoyed your presentation. You mention you would be willing to share your slides. I would be interested in having a copy. They are very good and I wonder if you would permit me to use certain slides for debriefing teams. Many thanks, Raymond

One is subject to wrongful hiring practices if one uses DiSC as a predictive qualifier for new hires. The profile merely describes general interpersonal tendencies, notwithstanding significant emotional events happening over time. I advise that you don't use it for job pre-screening. DiSC is not a tool to label people, but a way of understanding one's own strengths and weaknesses.

is there any way to alter your behaviour to become one of the other profiles? for instance if you're a D, is there any way you can train your mind to act a certain way for you to become, say an I? Or is it just in your make up that you will remain a D for as long as you live?

Yes, you can indeed alter between personalities. However, if you stay out of your natural style too long, you will actually create stress for yourself. There are techniques that can help you learn to mirror/match and then pull others into your personality style once you've built rapport.

Thanks for this - I recently became certified to facilitate DISC workshops and had been looking for a simple course that would give me some background that I didn't get during certification. This did the trick - I am a long time MBTI practicioner and the way you organized this material helped me see the similarities in how I need to present information to adult learners. Appreciate this resource.

The information here is great, however, it is very difficult to hear the content, even at full volume. It may be worth seeing how to boost the volume for the clip and repost it. Just an idea. Otherwise, great job - thank you for sharing! :)
