tested it just now, it still works just fine but you loose some money, attribute on 8 and 5 focus points you will lose approximately 150 000 denars, so it isn't much. and it's quite quick even though i didn't have 500 metals of each (only like 800 crude iron, 500 wrought iron and less of everything else), so imo you don't even to loose time smithing all metals to 500 to get it quick, just make sure to keep like 500 steel though.

one of the best weapon for foot combat i ever crafted was a small fast two handed axe. With some skill in two haded this thing is one shot militia, twoshots top troops, w/o even giving them a chance to strike u back. Espesially handy for lvl up athletics

In Vanilla you can't marry Rhagaea, I usually go for age as primary factor if I am doing an Intelligence / social build because i'm not using wives for their stats. If i'm doing more of a fighting build I choose Svana or LIena for those skills. Regardless I try to get a couple kids out then swap wives. A large family with multiple cultures is beneficial for world conquest if you don't want town just sitting on festival and games the whole playthrough.

Workshops and caravan's are not profitable in the base game without using mods, I've got a brewery in a place where it's mass producing grain and getting 0-14 per day, 4 caravans that are generating 100- 1000 per day in total and two of them killed before making 2000 each, killing bandit's and selling their loot is way more profitable.
