One thing I did in my last campaign, as soon as I got the skill 275: "Trickle Down" perk I used the Hero's fine steel-crude iron buy/sell loop to max out recruitment slots on the two merchant notables in every town on the map, productively power leveling XP, relation, and money at the same time.

Heh, thanks for this tip. I guess this is something where you loose everything right? I sold all my masterwork twohanders to make money but once i bought it back from the caravan i lost a lot of cash and when i sold it to Sanala I don't get trade skill. It seems I will have to grind more metal and do this tip again to fast track trade skill.
