On the front wheel, what difference does it matter which side of the fork/bike the leaver is at?

I’ve been using the volt 1600 for some years now. I never knew you could replace the battery. I use 2 on my Brompton, mainly on hyper constant and it definitely feels longer than 15 hours before it needs recharging. I’ve recently upgraded to an ebike and as the 1600 seems to be obsolete I’m looking to get the 1700. That extra brightness is a godsend. You’ll be surprised to see how many drivers hesitate before pulling out in front of you, even during the day as these are so bright. I’d strongly recommend them.

I've got a norco search xr flat bar, highly recommended, two things I would change though, the saddle and tires are pretty mediocre (saddle is a personal thing anyway), so I swapped those out with a saddle with more padding and pirelli cinturato gravel H classic tires (heck those roll fast!), and I might change the drivetrain for something smoother and lighter along the line. Awesome colour combination with the neon green frame and tan wall tires though!

What idiot decided to put these on in the first place. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Schraeder valve works just fine. I am so sick of everything changing just so that it cost people more money to accomplish something.

Genau, nichts. ;) Ich habe mir jetzt eine Vario-Sattelstütze, von Magura gegönnt und sie macht genau das was eine Sattelstütze machen soll. Federn. ;) Also lasst die Hände von Aaron Sattelstützen. ;)

Specialized only had one wide mondel right now. S-Works Torch. Shimano S-Phyre also comes wide, but finding any to try is very difficult. You could also include Bont in this for wide feet.

200 gram ... When I go biking me bag alone is already 10 kilos. Even those who are watching the weight of everything they have on their bike. 2 bottles is also another 2 kilo, but without 2 liters of water you not getting far on a hot day. Some things are way more important other than weight, and weight is only a little speed increase, you won't even notice it.

I got the Recon 2.0, and they are horrible for me. Numb toes all the time. Unless there's a wide version I don't know about.
@fluffmiller10848 ай бұрын
Agree. The asymmetric/offset opening means the cuff of the shoe presses against your tendon and the toebox strap creates a pressure point at the front. I wouldn't consider them to be wide-fitting. One of worst bike shoe purchases ever for me. (Prior to that I had some other Specialized BG shoes and they were excellent)

How do you mean gravel bike wheels share the same diameter as mountain bike wheels? Those come in 26, 27.5 and nowadays mostly in 29 inches. Not in 28 (?)
@markusseppala65478 ай бұрын
29er wheels are just a bigger tire on a wider 28" rim.

I Think there are lots of gravel wheels, your list looks a little short. I own 353 nsw - but thinking to put 240 hubs in there - I think it could be a dream gravel wheel than.

Bite mount can't be comfortable. That market niche must be tiny, because who would want to bite down to counterbalance the weight of a GoPro literally hanging from their mouth for hours.

As an American I was always confounded by Presta valves on the rare occasion of seeing them. It once prevented me from inflating my old girlfriend's tires on her imported Motobacane. This week I bought a portable cordless rechargeable inflator / compressor which came with several adaptors including the Presta valve adaptor. Though I have no Presta valves to deal with now, knowing all about them is brilliantly satisfying. Thanks for a really informative tutorial. Happy touring !
