They talked about this project when I was in secondary school I don't why it delayed. It's only the only project that the government has not reached effectively. I pray 🎉it gets done soon.

Kuluarlumpa borrowed Nairobi master plan.. It takes time in master planning. The affordable housing unit if you put in konza it will be full for those complain g. This is supposed to be private lnvestments vertical horizontal government. For government side is almost complete.

Yes, that is absolutely correct. Adding value to the crude oil by building an oil refinery in Uganda would be the way to go. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, for example, for every 42- gallon barrel of crude oil produced by the country and processed in their own refineries in 2023, 44.65 gallons of oil products were the result, which was a gain of 2.65 gallons of 16 various petroleum products for export. It only makes sense for Uganda to build an oil refinery as soon as we are able to do so.

I agree. There is a great value in the oil refinery.Lack of funding should not be an excuse, UNOC should increase its share. EAC countries should also take up more shares in the refinery, and target should not just be government. I am certain there are many investors in the region who may be interested in the venture. Govt can also mop up funds through a public offering. If it happens that the pipeline is completed before the refinery, the investors in EACOP will do everything possible to sabotage the refinery so that they can recoup their costs and make profit.Refinery's development should be expedited.

I have been researching Niobium for the last 4 years. There is a race to mine this rare earth element all over the world. The USA is developing their first Niobium mine is SE Nebraska called Elk Creek that will be run by NIOCORP. Our government administration put out FACT SHEETS in 2022 that listed Niobium and Yttrium as the 2 most important REE’s for our future. Thanks for sharing what is happening in Kenya. Much appreciated.

Konza has taken off, Naivasha SEZ has taken off why so much meddling and politicking with Mombasa SEZ????? Are we cursed in Mombasa & coast that any project has to fail, remain shady & incomplete like the Changamwe interchange or worse fail to take off completely??????????????????????? IMAGINE JUST OPENING DONGO KUNDU BY-PASS, has taken more than 5 years and still counting yet its complete save for minor touches, even this one remains a mirage and we continue getting subjected to sufferings at the ferry crossing channel???? We got stuck at the ferry last Saturday from 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm!!!!!! sounds crazy yes but that's the reality there..... shame on this govt, shame on our leaders at the coast

Nice update. If only the Talanta Stadium complex was built at Konza. Maybe more investors would build hotels and apartments to cater for the visitors. Thus bringing in human traffic. With human traffic, other facilities like malls would be built. I hope they extent the MGR line to Konza.

Titanium and Rare Earth minerals are available in Mrima Hills , Kwale in the Kenyan coast. The villagers need government's license for it's bulk haulage , grading , purity and sale. In contrast to niobium mineral , which is sold locally in kilograms.
