Iodine is a larger ion, and is more often found as potassium iodide than sodium iodide (just a fun fact). The presence of iodide, because of its size and relative polarity compared to the chloride and the liquids, affects the selective dissolution. It basically destroys the phase barrier so instead of "salting out" you would just end up with a homogeneous liquid mixture of alcohol + water + salt. Without iodide, alcohol is much less polar than water, so the alcohol can only dissolve a tiny amount of salt while the water can dissolve a lot of salt. Then the salt ions cling to the water molecules more tightly than the alcohol molecules will, basically the salt acts as a shield against the alcohol mixing with the water, so the alcohol is forced out of the mixture... and because it has a lower density it floats on top by itself (with that tiny amount of salt dissolved in it). The plastic has a density greater than alcohol, but less than water. Low density liquids have LESS buoyancy than high density liquids. Also, the dissolved salt increases the density of the water even more. So the beads float on the water, but they sink in alcohol. And now you know.

Then why does Ice float 💁♀️
@Vixeyy.yКүн бұрын
Ice floats on water because it is less dense than liquid water. When water freezes, its molecules form a crystalline structure that spaces them further apart, making ice less dense. Although cold water is denser than warmer water, the density of ice is lower than that of liquid water at 0°C (32°F), allowing it to float.

the water doesnt hold its shape due to the tension being released by the baloon when it is popped. The tension being released causes the water being held in the baloon to be pulled outwards.

You think you have beautiful eyes and now you overemphasize that in content creation to the extent that you have adapted your entire persona to it, so now you open your eyes wide whenever you have the opportunity to emphasize that physical attribute as much as possible. No need to try hard that much it doesn't seem natural.
