You also need to have a good battery, cause giving electricity consume energy. When using fire spells it feels like you are using some mediocre flamethrower that needs to be constantly charged and fuel ain’t cheap. I never played Morrowind but having played Oblivion, mage in Skyrim was so disappointing. A mage is supposed to be powerful and kind of overpowered in latest stages of the game. Spells should be creative. In Skyrim spells are boring, mana consuming and a poor alternative to classic warrior fighting.

Magic in Morrowind is closer to how magic is in the lore. In Skyrim it's like "magic can be used to uncover the very fabric of space and time" but you get to cast the same 5 fireballs. In Morrowind it's like: "what's that? Want to leap in the air as a method of fast travel? Want to create a spell that kills someone, then turns the corpse undead, then deals holy damage to murder that motherfucker a second time? I got you pal."

There’s no happy ending or resolution to anything in this game, it’s very bleak. Even the “good” bonus ending you get in this game with the DLC, where you (SPOILER) have to give up all your cyberware and the ability to ever have cyberware again by accepting Reed’s help with the NUSA to get the Relic removed from V’s body. That ending is the only ending remotely satisfying, it’s bittersweet of course but it was the only ending I think had proper closure for the game.
