Thats deep, we need a mindset as Alfred. Thoughtful, wise and experienced. Maybe we will move.

I wonder if he confused Bateman being a “spineless dork” for some other person. What if he thought Bateman as Louis (the gay guy) ???

Too bad Marvel put it's nose in too much on this movies sequel. Has a result, the director and Jane pulled out just as filming was supposed to begin. Marvel wanted it too be lighter in tone. Jane wanted it too be dark, like the first one.

this makes Bruce Wayne very honorable. Batman can be many different people, but Bruce Wayne is a whole different person.

Alfred was right. Bruce was absolutely not ready to face Bane, that’s why he broke him, he went up against something that he wasn’t ready for.

Sir Michael Caine just left me speechless in every single scene of the trilogy. Surrounded by an amazingly talented cast, it's him that makes you stand up at the end of the movie.

How gentle he places his hand on the shoulder is the biggest mind f**k. Such a power move and a great way to let him know he was done. Most films would have gone for a big power throttle. But this was a million times more scary.

What I think happens is that Patrick batemans dad is hiding his murders because of nepotism, basically cleaning everything up without anyone realizing it or they know and they're in on it

Guy thinks he is special for killing people but forgets there are so many monsters in his world, he can't even compare. This is why he can't find his catharsis. He is stuck.

Nah. People just don’t care. What someone has is more of elegance and significance than a possible murderer and psychopath sitting amongst them.

The progression of Bateman’s psychopathy is perfectly exemplified in his planner. It starts with small visions of depravity and mutilation, and ends with the whole thing being filled with the most disgustingly brutal renditions of murder and torture that he could imagine. It’s a microcosm of his mind throughout the film.

This is one of the best parts of the movie. The book is even better, IMO, but the movie is EXCELLENT. See, we know Patrick Bateman is a serial killer and absolute a psycho.. but what really makes him a psycho is that he truly believes himself to be different than the others around him, but he's not. He's not superior. He's not anything but the people he surrounds himself with. He's basically too deep with this lifestlye that he can not escape. The one and only difference between him and the others is that he is aware... and kills people. When he realizes nobody gives a shit here in the end, he reverts right back to how he was when the movie started or when the book started. As he says.. "This confession has meant nothing." It's also a fantastic telling of how big CEOs and Execs never face the consequences they actually deserve.

He probably would have had a much better time if he had appealed to Banes integrity and honor, rather than his greed. “And that gives you power over me?” “We had a deal, does your word mean nothing?”
