It’s a field recorder. MixPre6 from Sound Devices. But any recorder would do the same job. I use this cause I work as location sound recordist in film, this recorder has very good preamps

not too sure about sending the signal to the camera directly as i haven’t try that but you can contact them to ask directly this question.

Rico,interessantissimo vorrei capire meglio come usare Ableton per fare questo tipo di esperimenti. Ho preso Zoom h6 e dei microfoni a contatto,mi mancano le basi per creare su Ableton,se hai consigli sono davvero ben accetti.
@mdmamusicproduction4 ай бұрын

I have several questions, what would be the correct use of this plugin in the mix? Should I add it to the beginning of my mixing and mastering chain and then with another EQ start to balance the mix and render the final track with the plugin activated or deactivated?
@mdmamusicproduction4 ай бұрын
you want to put this plugin in the master channel of your DAW, at the end of your mastering chain. and then you tweak the various channels of your project, and not by adding an EQ after this plugin. you equalise everything on your channel according to how this plugin make your track sound, and before export your project to .wav yes you need to switch it off

Does the plugin allow you to save only room tone as separate file? So we we can use dialog in center channel and only room tone in LR for surround mix.

Yes if you use the plugin as Audio Suite on Pro Tools, you can 'solo noise' and render the noise only without the dialogue

So what is the aim with this plugin , are you aiming to get your mix before the plugin to sound like the plugin. Is that how this works
@mdmamusicproduction6 ай бұрын
the aim of this plugin is to flatten the frequency response of your headphone so that while working your track you’d have the “optimal scenario” of how your sounds should sound on your headphone, so that it will translate correct when playing your song on other sound system. then again this is not the final solution for a perfect mix as i believe you should also use some speaker to correct your mixes as with reverbs it’s a bit more challenging mixing using only headphones. but overall this plugin will give you a good balanced mix, don’t forget to switch the plugin off before doing the export!
@graynoone6 ай бұрын
But when you turn this plugin off, to master or mix down it sounds totally different, so, am I aiming for the pre and post to sound as near to each other.
@mdmamusicproduction6 ай бұрын
@@graynoone yes it sounds different because as I said it 'flatten' the frequency response of your headphone, its made to be this way. you work on your track with your headphone settings on, and then when you wanna bounce your track you switch off the plugin first. you only work on your track with the plugin on so that the sounds of your track are going to be sounding the correct way, check the explanation on the website of the plugin, it explains it properly
