I had bbq last week, and because I'm laying off Coke I had some lemonade. Oh it was great with that BBQ. I had some tacos today with Lemonade and it was great again. It's my new drink now and looking for the powder.

There was a fake hotdog cart company several years ago. He and his wife were in on it. I almost got suckered in. I don't remember the name he went under. He ran a scam with champion dog breeds too.

As a professional graphic designer (and part time lemon slinger), the free logo guys kill me. Please don't fall for these scams. But also please realize that good creative work does take time and energy, and the people who do that for a living need to be compensated for it. I know art is subjective and yes there are tools out there that can make basic logos, but if you want true, custom artwork, you should be willing to pay more then $10 for it. Its ok, if you have a cousin or relative who is just stating out and wants to get experience from you as a client, we've all been there. But at least you know the person and its not some rando in a FB group. Also, realize you get what you pay for (or don't pay for), most cheap logo designers will only give you a small jpeg of the art. Might be good for a website but good luck trying to blow it up to fit on a cart or truck. You'll send more money having it redone into vector art for those purposes. A true professional designer will understand the business and future uses of the branding and should supply you with a suite of file formats and variations to allow you multiple uses.

Excellent information Mike! We have been hit before as well. Taking Square payment when you are out of Wifi range is a big risk as well. In the past 3 years, we lost around $200 due to the lack of cell service.

the government will start cracking down making laws limiting food trucks etc. they'll burden you with taxes, zoning, health dept stuff, red tape. right now most of you can do whatever you want. but it will change and it will make doing this kind of thing so hard most of you will have to quit.
