No not at all. Loosening the triple tree bolts can. But those are not touched during this swap.

I don’t know the amp draw. It’s a harbor freight winch. I would think the website would tell. I had one with an extension cord. Kind of a pain…that’s why I did the battery.

It looked like you had a set screw to attach the wheel to the axle. was that a modification of and existing wheel or did you purchase them like that?

I used the smallest wench the local hardware store sells. It says 1500 lbs. I used the smallest gear on the wench side and the largest size I could on the wheel side. It’s so powerful. I don’t know the max. But it will turn a 2000 lb tandem axle trailer in place. I haven’t tried yet. But I think it would turn it with my car in the trailer. Hope that helps.

@@LeonZedd If I could I would have liked to get equal length long-tube headers for the car, but in California we're limited to cat back modifications only. Even so, the company shows about a 6% increase in rw torque across the rev range with the pipes. Because the engine is so highly developed and efficient, there's little that can be gained short of forced induction or a displacement increase.

Bushing, axle, chain and sprockets all came from a store we have in Colorado called Tractor Supply Co. The motor is a modified harbor freight wench. There’s other vids out there on how to do the mods.

In the vid I said I used a 22mm socket. I actually used a 1 1/4 socket which is right at a 32mm. Then 1/2-13 nuts.

a 22mm socket just happened to work perfectly with the 1/2-13 left hand nuts I had. the spacing with this combo fits perfectly.

I just bought a 22mm trying to replicate the patented tool, but the splines wouldn't fit in the socket, so I had to get a 32mm and that looks more like it

Lol, no worries, I just wanted to shed some light on the tool, cause it's a great idea!! Anyways, I got it squared up with 32mm socket and 17mm nuts for like $5 bucks
