Composite resin is everywhere on newer cars to save weight and money. In fact GM has a lot of problems with steering columns now! The Chevrolet Malibu and Impala columns are notorious for failure of poorly made interior support components relating to electronic power assist.

There is no "gear lever". The "Clutch" pedal selects between neutral (center position) and two forward speeds (low - pedal down, high - pedal up). The reverse pedal engages the reverse drive. The lever on the right hand side of the steering column is the throttle control.

Factory installed steering wheel rim was black, you changed steering wheels, your factory warranty is void! (How many people today remember that?)

...looks like he left the key in the "battery" position. Not a good idea!
@edisonphonographs8 жыл бұрын
+Jason1920 It does no harm whatsoever to drive the car with the switch in the battery position. Model T's in good shape will run much better with the magneto however.
@Jason19208 жыл бұрын
edisonphonographs ...still. not a good idea to drain your battery when the magneto will provide your spark... no?
@stephenheatherly62548 жыл бұрын
It will not discharge the battery in anyway because the generator will keep it charged.
@oldtimesmatthew6 жыл бұрын
It does run better on mag. Mag will put out 8 to 30 volts depending on rpm. My 26 coupe needs a mag recharge, on battery the 6 volts make the car more sluggish.

@CGALDGAL10 жыл бұрын

Vacuum tank for fuel. Not factory equipment.
@RX67GPO3A8 жыл бұрын
+Charly SOURZAC That is the fuel vacuum tank. It uses vacuum from the engine to draw fuel from the gas tank, fills to a set point determined by a float system then gravity feeds fuel into the carburetor.
