Man you are obsessed with how your roe looks. It looks great but literally the first minute and a half of this video is just you talking about how great your roe looks thats just the first min and a half, I stopped warching it half way through because you just keep stopping to show how well you think they turned out/how great they look... not what I clicked on this video for was to watch someone obsess over their roe curing job. Just a tip/suggestion if you're wanting people to recommend your video to others/people to actually watch through your video

I'd second the frogg toggs. I got my first pair 15 years ago because it was one of the few that fit comfortably over my calves. Got a second set last year on sale just to have a backup. But I still wear the first set as my primary. Never had leak

HighNDry wader's featured on Outdoor GPS, Couple of guys designed them for their aquaculture business on the East Coast, no seams in the crotch where waders tend to leak. Stocking foot,boot foot and pant style. Custom made to your size! Check em out! Good luck, Great vid as always Gene!

If you’re looking for waders that last, then go Simms G-3 or G-4. My first pair had a zipper leaking after 6 years of use. Simms MFG replaced them and those have lasted 8 years now. 🧐

Do you guys review pots? Is there a type or style you prefer? How much do they run?
@Northwestfishingfanatics11 күн бұрын
Depends on new or used. Market place of Craigslist usually has some. I think the bait is most important and weight too. They have to be heavy enough to stay on the bottom. You should be able to find good pots for around 100 bucks a piece, not including the weighted line, bouys, and weights.

I tape a banana weight on the line about 12 feet below the bouy . This makes the line hang straight down under the bouy and keeps other boats and my boat from getting the line in your prop or other boats from running over the line and getting the line in thier prop or cutting the line off when they run over the floating line if you dont weight the line. Crabs taste a lot better if you cook them in ocean water compared to using tap water that takes away the flavor of the craps meat.
@Ericsson_Construction13 күн бұрын
As Gene will tell you all of our lines are lead core weighted line so no need for weights.
@Northwestfishingfanatics13 күн бұрын
Steve is right. We do use lead line. With the current ripping like it was, no amout of weight would keep in vertical. Thanks for watching, though appreciate it.
