DOn't you have kind of an ethical dilemma still supporting musk, after he gave the Nazi salute TWICE at trump's inauguration? I've lost a bit of respect for you I"m afraid.

In regards to the New Glenn launch, apparently planned, the 2nd stage left into a high transfer orbit does not seem to comply with the spirt of orbital debris mitigation guidelines. The New Glenn 2nd stage is approximately 88 feet (26.8 meters) in length and 23 feet (7 meters) in diameter. Its estimated dry mass is around 16.7 metric tons. That is a lot of space junk to be left in orbit. For comparison the ESA inadvertently stranded the Ariane 6 2nd stage in LEO is 18 feet (5.4 meters) diameter. Its length is likely around 40-50 feet (12-15 meters) with a dry mass of estimated between 4-5 metric tons.

Can i ask you a question, has elon or space x ever failed in your opinion? 7 star ships destroyed and not one got orbit, people on mars by 2024, orbital refueling, a star ship hasn't made past Australia yet star ship point to point travel quicker cheaper than a jet. Yes but falcon, so 50% of what they do works would you buy a car from someone when 50% of them do as advertised?

Passengers from aircraft flying in the zone of Recovery had to be diverted for their own protection when Starship came down in all those fiery pieces which means this launch practice is actually impacting on Ordinary People Apollo had managed to land on the Moon by this to time of flights yet Starship and booster I'll still flying test missions

People really need to weigh out the NET POSITIVE with the journey with the ongoing damage it is causing to thousands of people. The South African Elon Musk has spent billions of dollars (big chunks of it with Tax Payers Grant Money) to launch Rocket after Rocket to perfect his new developments (in this case, his ChopStick catchers ... and now he's achieved that). Progress, right? But with each Rocket Launch experimentations (Elon launches an average of 3 Rockets per month for the past 15 years) the explosions send off debris all over the land, farms, rivers, lakes, beaches, and ocean ... and it rains Rocket fuel all over the region. Not only do they end up in USA soil and waterways, but in other countries as well. We have found Starlink debris in Australian, and India is constantly complains about finding Starlink debris in their mountains and their oceans … and the irony is ... India has BANNED Starlink over India. But, against FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) request for moderation, the South African Elon Musk keeps launching rockets after rockets after rockets within days of each other (he as the money to do that, and pay the FAA fines). Hence thousands of people are being severely affected by the South African’s experimental rocket launches, 3 per month. Even NASA experts say that they are NOT allowed to launch experimental rocket the volume of SpaceX … this is why SpaceX is ahead of NASA in Rocket Science. At what point does the NET POSITIVE outweigh the damage?

"NASA news is not existent. Where did NASA go?" Well, there's the Parker Solar Probe, the James Webb Space Telescope, and the LIGO gravitational wave facilities. I'm sure there's more I don't know about.

NASA is still there and doing just fine. They're just not really in the rocket business anymore, other than SLS, which is fine by me. Private companies have proven they're much, much more efficient building actual hardwear.

LEGS! I'm just going to keep saying it on every SpaceX video I watch about Starship because overwise it's just a heavy lift vehicle for orbital and sub-orbital payloads. It's not *finished* until it has legs to land on or please someone explain to me how this thing is suppose to take of again once it's on the moon or mars..... what's that just fire the engines point blank flat against the ground it will be just fine? depends what you mean by just fine but ok lets do it!

My guess is that Pad B will host its first launch in October although just maybe that could be September if we’re lucky. On the other hand it could slip to November or December. One thing a few of the more optimistic guesses here might be overlooking is that even if SpaceX recruited a wizard to cast a finish-pad-B-tomorrow spell it still couldn’t actually be used for a while because it seems very likely now that it won’t have any RQDs for the outer Raptors so it will only be able to launch a block 2 booster and we haven’t seen any evidence of those being built yet. I can easily see it being 8 or 9 months before the first block 2 booster is ready to launch.

I wonder if Elon will use the starship heat shields on the actual launchpad to protect it from the intense heat from the rocket landing and launching. May Decrease the amount of damage and shorten the repair times between launches. Any thoughts?

I don’t understand why people continue to compare New Glenn and Starship. They aren’t even close to the same thing and are built for drastically different primary missions. New Glenn is basically a jumbo sized Falcon 9/Heavy which is amazing but it’s not a competitor to Starship in terms of its ultimate purpose.
