This band and taking back Sunday got me through my freshman year in college, a breakup, homesickness and depression.. every know and then i listen to these song, and feel those same emotions and have a good cry and then its back to grown man gangster dad mode..music is healing and powerful

Us millennials who had this music in high school were honestly the last generation to experience truly great and unique generational music. I miss it every day. It was a magical time to be a teenager and I feel bad for the generations after us who will never know what it’s like pre KZbin or Facebook. Finding your friends through music was organic and special.

I mean this so genuinely. I hated the adults who said this about their music when I was growing up and this gives those vibes. We are not the last generation with that level of music. There are songs being released right this minute with the same genuine greatness and a hint of nostalgia. Don't become what you once hated
